I agree this episode was very disappointing instead of taking in the experience of being in south Africa and putting aside differences to thoroughly enjoy the trip they're acting a fool. Marlo needs to be dismissed because she brings too much negativity to the table. Nene has let Hollywood blow her head up her nose is stuck in space.
Those that expected anything different from these Bravo made 'stars' are the real fools.
Locations don't change people. And seeing poverty doesn't always humble people, especially women who've expected it perviously and are fighting to get out.
Not one of these ladies was born into wealth so they behaviour is rather predictable yet still disappointing.
While I enjoy your commentary, I think its only fair that if you are going to call Nene's side out, you should also call the others girls out. Like you said; Kandi asking if "this is where Apartheid happened?" come on who doesn't know where apartheid happened and Nelson Mandela??? Also Phaedra was also being kinda bougie when she was talkin bout how she knows royalty and blah blah. And you can't assume everyone knows about apartheid because unfortunately, they don't. Dress down, be humble, try to say hello to some locals. Oprah is humble, appropriate, and respesctful when she goes.

I loved this review-- you were right on everything-- they were overdressed, under-educated on the country, flossin, and annoyingly petty. Atlanta has become the most boring franchise because they are just too full of themselves and nothing seems real about them or the show. Happy for kim, but her storyline is just too boring now. On the boat is when Sheree should of said something to be real, Marlow was even trying to help Nene and Sheree mend their relationship. THE fight was avoidable and I find Sheree was not considerate to Marlow or Cynthia.
