The grind itself isn't too hard to pull off; I find the best method is to hold the left stick to the left or right to turn 90 degrees while holding the right stick up or down. But I think I get what you're saying; I also have yet to find out how they powerslide into a Bluntslide so smoothly, and I can't end it like that, even if I use the B button to end the grind.
