I realise that I was overly tiered when I posted that series of messages and probably shouldn't have. Anyone looking for either Sikh or Yogic music would most likely already be aware of what I said and it is unlikely anyone else would be reading the comments anyway.
As I hoped my earlier comments would make plain I did not intent anyone had committed a slight, nor did I intend to slight anybody.
@kingsley:knowing the creator of this video, knowing she knows Snatam...my guess is she was simply thanking Snatam Kaur for permission to use her work here, just as Deva Premal asked permission of Snatam Kaur to also record this mantra before doing so. Courtesies of Creative Ones. No slights ever intended, for theonesoul has no capacity to neglect nor ignore anyone's feelings To oneness. Intentions of the most Divine ~ Namaste'
(I cannot speak for anyone but me, with apology to all) Non issue
I am here, my friend. This is my favorite video of yours for my own reasons & I smile that this video brought me to a world new to me...of mantras, of translations, of the naad, love, god, gurus, friendship-all the way now to akal undying. Loving you in all you do, all you are here there everywhere. e11en of the e22ence of you akal
...I believe Ms. Kaur would want Guru Nanak Dev to take credit for the words to this mantra although the melody, arrangement and production are very much her own. And so without malice to anyone I simply wish to point out an omission in attribution.
...Not a big issue as Snatam Kaur herself openly acknowledges this everywhere else I have seen her work displayed but I just felt it needed pointing out as I wouldn't want Sir Simon Rattle to take undue credit for Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture no matter how much he had changed the arrangement...
This is an indescribably beautiful piece but I can't help thinking that by describing this as being by Snatam Kaur you are being slightly disingenuous. Whilst the voice is her own as is the melody and arrangement the words come from the 15th century and are the work of Guru Nanak Dev...
In "With These Eyes" a young woman embarks on a journey that holds the pieces to the puzzle that will reveal the secret behind Quantum Energy.
Buddhist wisdom and the goodness of her heart are the only weapons Isabelle de Fleur possesses in her battle against an army of covert spies sworn to protect their employer at all cost.
Dr. Chukanov's real life Quantum Generator serves as the inspiration to a free society in this suspensful and wittingly entertaining novel by Horst Steiner.
However rereading the description now, I realize I was over zealous in my response for no good reason.
I offer my apologies to BetterWorld4YouAndMe and anyone else I may have offended by my unnecessary smugness.
