  • I heard 1 song fro this band. Just 1 song. And bought every Paw album i could possibly find. I still to this day listen to this band. I miss the grunge era. :(

  • I'm 17 ... I listen to this band since childhood .. has an ancient history ... and I hope to keep it!

  • Por dios hasta dan ganas de llorar cuando uno mira estas bandas y estos videos y volteas a ver la mierda de ahora la verdad se extrañan demasido los 90s

  • This first album is a bit of a lost classic of this era.

  • Paw is such a great band, and they are all about animals, I mean Jessie the dog, this fishy song and...

Come on man they're called Paw

  • I'm from India and I'm a huge fan of PAW , I've got all their stuff .... the singer reminds of Eddie Vedder to a certain extent , GRUNGE'S NOT DEAD !!!!!!

  • I would have sworn I was the only person on Earth who knew of this band, it makes me happy to not only see fans but also fans who are recently posting comments on here.. that ROCKS!!!

  • So my friend and i were fishing down on the docks one day and he was reelin in a nice sized bass and i ran over and screamed "CAN I LEND A HAND?!!?" omg it was so great :)

  • good band i hope theres more bands like this one soon in the future.

  • @JackoReaper No, eras like these are done. Unless people like us start our own grunge band. :)

  • @MrGhostface2001 thats true. im tired of that screamo crud.

  • @MrGhostface2001 yes the era's gone. however, start a band that sounds like grunge and punk and today's kids will shit all over it! the hope for my band is that the old people from my generation like it (and they generally do, even though i post my crappiest songs online right along side my best stuff)

  • 90s i miss you! =(

  • love this song !!!!!!

favorite song on the album though is Lolita !!

  • GRUNGE NOT DEAD!

  • Aaah Paw, Screaming Trees, Pearl Jam, AIC, Soundgarden, TotD... those were the days.

  • @larsodal Totd? Don't know em. i tried lookin for them but can't. sorry for late comment

  • @Familyguy1230: I meant Temple of the Dog

  • @larsodal ah.

  • I had never seen any vids from Paw back in the days... didn't realize Mark Henessy looked so much like Vedder!

  • the video and the song are awesome!! very creative! and song is full energy! simply great, greetings from venezuela!

  • Man, it's a shame these guys didnt put out more stuff. Even the last EP they put out was great. Hennessy had a voice that gave the song almost a movie quality when u followed along with the lyrics. Amazing

  • @swgeorge

totally agree. i went to see 'em in the late 90s, but they had a different singer (even though they were advertising the show w. the old dragline promo photos!) and....oh man, it just was NOT the same. at all. hennessy really made this band what they were.

  • Amazing band, I miss those days

  • This is the first song that I ever heard from Paw, and I have loved them ever since! Great stuff, and I miss them.

  • I love this band

  • Still wish I'd been able to make the Paw,Urge Overkill,Nirvana show at the Kansas Ballroom in 91.

  • I was at that show..Kansas Ballroom at the Kansas Union..... it seems like that was about a week or so after the Nirvana Nevermind come out....... that was like Grungy man... no one could believe that Paw was being considered for a major label... it was like, huh?

  • Waht happen to PAW?

  • this song is cool

  • the best non-mainstream grunge band of all times...kida like batter dean but BD are too much alike pearl jam.

  • These guys could have been huge..like Pearl Jam or Nirvana, but I wouldnt go as far as to call them grunge. In a way I'm glad they didnt go big..I'm sure they're not..for the money, but they will always be our band..and never be labeled sell outs. They are what music should be about..

  • Spot on gg77.

This band is so much more than "grunge".

Sweet 60's to 70's rock, country, folk they've got it all.

Saw them twice when they toured Aust years ago, great gigs!

  • lionman 13 you no paw was in a class of its own

  • I,ve seen well over a 1000 concerts in my day! & w/out a doubt PAW 1993 at he "Blind Pig" in Ann Arbor MI. remains the best, most awesomest show i,ve ever seen in my life! (you just would have had to be there) Words could never explain! Also fortunate to see them 4 other times in the Detroit area thoughout the 90,s! Whata fucking band! Glad to hear thier putting a project together soon! Cheers! Dragline 4ever!

  • love this song and love this band!!,grunge never dead!!!

  • Paw is back !

  • Larryville representin' niggas. Dragline was a damn good album

  • Veriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • essa banda e muito boa,

    bastante sem palavras.

    wooooooooooohooooooo rock n roll

  • fucking great band..I have my paw album here!

  • I very much miss this era of music! From 87 to 99 was the shit!

  • Please come back Paw!

  • Esta banda é muito foda, velhos tempos de Road Rash!!!!!

  • One of my favorite bands of this period... great rock of the 90's !

  • excellent band

  • Paw is severely missed.

  • paw rocks!, i think they were severally undermarked, too bad youtube wasnt around then, semms plenty of peeps love em on here

  • I really miss 90's videos. The excessive use of colour and strange ideas for music videos...good times.

  • paw-the best band that never wanted to be famous

  • and i agree, and dragline may be the best album ever made

  • awesome band, first heard them on the roadrash soundtrack :)

  • thanks guys for a briiliant gig at southampton joiners arms england in 1995

  • there are another Paw fans here?? I am a Paw fan from Germany. I first discovered the band when I used to play Road Rash on Playstation 1... Then I saw the Video named Jessie.. I fell in love with that music... I was a school kid back there.. now I am 29 and can't forget them!

  • yeah hometown heros, kind of. I'm from Kansas.

  • Great Band....They not only played grunge, but also hard rock.

I wish I could still get thei album. They got great music. I wish this band lasted longer, or forever. They started during a great era with bands like Swervdriver, Sound garden, and lots of other great bands.

  • Yeah nigga, exactly. I don´t care if "Teh World" doesn´t catch onto my favourite bands. I mean, I´m sorry for the dudes in Paw themselves because they should be living high on the profits of their awesome music while talentless mongoloids like Durst / Spears / Crazytown / Blunt are struggling with two jobs to pay the rent .... but it´s nice to have music that only a privileged few are enjoying, and not having to worry about complete fuckwits loving the same music.

  • Nice video of my favorite band from this period.

  • yeah i think it's about a shark. well part of the lyrics are it was 8 feet long and weighed 420 pounds.

  • I remember when this song come out and I think I remember reading an interview or something where he said it was about a shark. Always really liked this band. Don't know why the never caught on. Too metally , southern for the time maybe.

  • not metally, its pure straight up grunge. they didnt catch on because their record label failed them, but to to prety much everyone who got to hear their music agree they are among the best in the 90s grunge scene

  • Agreed. It sucks that they didn't enjoy more success as Paw then they did, but at least they haven't been forgotten. One of the most underrated bands in the grunge era, if not ever.

  • LMAO!!! dude said this song is about a fish. the lyrics were the fisherman at the end of the pier. so ya think this is about a fish.. woot.. classic

  • "And I named all her children with hopes that they would obtain some degree of her perfection". Just try and find something as cool as that with today's radio crap.

  • Paw was the loudest gig I have EVER been too and I have been to many. I attribute that gig to the constant ringing in my ears 10 years later :-) What a great great great band.

  • its about a big fish, but rocks so hard

  • it about a girl u idiot

  • i highly doubt it

  • haha ur probly right

i dont know what im talking about

  • Great band that didn't get nearly the respect that they deserved. The rock world nowdays needs a huge kick in the ass and no, I'm not a jaded oldster this is a fact!

  • I saw Paw at Kitsap County Fairgrounds in 1993 I think it was. The worst part was the fact that it was also the last time I ever saw them. Best live performance I ever saw by a rock band. I have seen them all, and There isn't a band out there who can compare. The biggest upset of the otherwise incredible 90's music scene was the fact that Paw somehow slipped through the cracks to the general public.

  • Dragline & Home Is A Strange Place Both Rock. Death To Traitors Is So So,But Dragline Is An Album Everyone Should Have. Also The B-Sides Album Keep The Last Bullet For Yourself Is Great.

  • I couldnt agree more with these comments! I seen Paw at the MI state fair in 93 And was fortunate enough to see them several more times at some very small clubs in the Detroit area. An amazing band! Till this day "Dragline" still resonates so well. One of my top 10 all time. Great disc!

  • god i miss the 90's

  • I can't believe I used to listen to this on cassette! I went to all the concerts back in the day! Brings back so many great memories!

  • MAn, this is Rock! I miss this band. It's a shame that bands today are so fricking whiny, and yet this band has more emotion than most. Take notes, you pussies!

  • i agree with sleepytimeb every song is kickass its a great album lolita rocks

  • We need this kind of bands to Mtv. This emo & indie shit sucks.

  • Best metal song about fishing ever! Great album, Dragline...

  • their lyrics are a clear reflectin of where they come from and the lifestyle of growint up in the mid west.. i used to see these guys play around lawrence kansas when they were starting up and i was in college.. they are allways telling stories about rusty trucks mangy dogs. and keg parties at the lake.. ha ha where the only things to do is to drink and fuck.

  • The leadsinger is in a new band called "the diamond heart club". Find them on myspace. Grant fitch, the guitarist also has some new demos on myspace...check out new franklin panthers. Also join the paw-98 group. on yahoo.

  • Geeze they were my fave band in my 20s. I saw this video just once on Mtv and ran out and bought Dragline the next day. To this day this song rocks!!!!

Thanx for posting it on here for all us to enjoy.

  • Buen video ke te levanta el ánimo cuando esats deprimido... ke buen lugar para ir a pescar

  • I had completely forgot about them. I haven't heard this song or Dragline since the mid to late 90s....Fukkin kick ass band, thanks for posting the vid!

  • the beginning of hardcore, emo, grunge, death metal I got this album out of a dollar bin just by chance and to this day they are the best thing Ive heard.Paw is eternal.

  • Paw were awesome, but all those styles were around before Paw.
