  • @pointway12 Nop, people can do 10 minutes straight its extremely painful. Im going to be on varsity football and when people screw around or don't focus 10 minutes of wallsits is a punishment.

  • we had to do this in mosque as a punishment for 10 minutes at a time :P

  • Man we had to do this in P.E. for like 5 minuets for a punishment but we had to keep our hands fully stretched out T-T very painful...

  • we had to do this for volleyball practice on the first day.... then we did lunge laps....and then we ran staris.....me and the others were sore... XP

  • Since you do volleyball can you please tell me what kind of drills you guys do? are they really hard?

  • @mpc127 well it depends on your coach ... but our school coach made us do drills like stairs lunge laps and running with the ball up over our heads at the start then we also just did normal things like push ups, jumping jacks, sit ups, ect.... but after we were all in good shape we started working on volleyball techniques but it all deppends on the coach and his/her coaching techinques.... hope this helps =)

  • @mpc127 I play volleyball & yes the drills are hard,Sometimes we'll put the cones on the court starting from the back of the court going all the way to abt the net & we will go in & out of them &then we have to do block jums all across the net, jog backwars to the back line &then shuffle to the where the cones start Also we do 4 sets of these along with MANY other drills including inward pushups, standups, wall sits, planks, and 500 repetions on a jumprope. But its all worth it in the end :)

  • i didnt realize you could damage your knees by sinking to the ground when you finished. although im glad. at least now i know why my legs were hurting last week.

  • uhm once u can do for about a min and a half which is wat i can do i can dunk so i hope tht works for u also work your core abs tht area helps to btw

  • do jjump rope, squats , calf raise in a balanced way 5 times a week and you will gain inches

  • Can u tell me how often (days/wk) i should do these exercises? I want to strengthen my legs fast but I think I may be overworking my legs. Any suggestions?

  • id say 2 reps and hold it for about 3-5 mintues each twice a week i say 3-5 mintues because when i was doing karate that how long i had to keep up my horse stance but whatever works for you should do just fine
