Think he'll be in England in a year for sure. United and Chelsea are the only destinations I can see for him though. Personally think he'll end up at Chelsea, they're after someone who can cause trouble on the right hand side.
@skewis6 we already have someone who can cause trouble on the right hand side STURRIDGE! I think he's going to be utilized as a left winger IF Chelsea go for him. Sorta like:
@Berisoo I'm not saying we don't have one. Sturridge is amazing, but he's not an out and out right-sided player for me. I can't deny that he's started brilliantly on that side though.
@skewis6 yeah Sturridge is more like Ronaldo he likes to score alot, he doesn't really hug the touch line make crossess. Like AVB said he's like Hulk very muscular, very quick and technically gifted. Remember Hulk was a central striker converted to winger, if AVB can do that to Hulk I think he can do that to Sturridge. BTW don't you think Daniel should change his name to Sturr cuz that is what he does to opposition defense and makes his name a lot more striking and easier to remember?
@Berisoo I agree. Hulk is a great player (not worth £89m, though). Sturridge so far is proving that he's very capable on the right. The only criticism I have of Sturridge, is (as a forward-minded player) he tends to be selfish when he gets into the final third. He creates brilliant chances out of nothing then ends up losing a chance due to his refusal to use his right foot. He needs to learn to use his right foot! Between Mata and him though, Torres should be banging in the goals this season!
@skewis6 Spot on! Sturridge is very left footed he has 3 goals and assists he made this amazing oppurtunity for Drogba against Bolton but Drogba was too slow... Remember he's only 22 only going to get better!
@Berisoo Definitely. I think the fact that he will be learning from the likes of Drogba, Anelka and Torres this season (at least) he can only improve. Especially with Drogba. To be a prolific goalscorer you need to be able to use both feet at times, and I hope they can just work with him on that.
