Well Im 32 years old and back when I was in 5th grade I got lyme disease, I did not receive the red rings around the bite, and had to have an IV tube be put into my arm going to my heart feeding me medicine, Im not sure what is going on with my Lyme Disease now...

I learned about this disease from this documentary. I watched it on Netflix. After ten years of being misdiagnosed by incompetent doctors I was able to convince a close friend of mine to prescribe antibiotics. She took them for two weeks and saw results, amazing results. She had not been able to drive, work, or have anything close to a normal life in over ten years. In two weeks she was driving, riding her bike, clear minded, and so appreciative of having her life back. UOS saved my mom.

Hey guys....PLEASE register at the Oprah Winfrey website and let her know how much you would like to see her do a show on Lyme disease. Dr. Oz thinks the "UNDER OUR SKIN" documentary is wonderful but a show about Lyme won't be done unless she sees lots of interest. Request that LLMDS and patients be the guests so that we can be heard. Also, Daryl Hall would make a great guest. OPRAH needs to hear about YOUR experience with Lyme disease. WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER !

I'm housebound and am unable to get to a theater, much less purchase the dvd. Seems like everyone should get chronic lyme disease and see how it feels to be stuck in bed all day and night and not able to purchase or go to a movie theater to see a video which might have some helpful information on lyme disease or at least in hearing from others get some home of ever getting a life back.

If you want to get information out about Lyme disease why don't you make it available for free for people who cannot afford to purchase the DVD Many people like myself with chronic lyme disease cannot afford to purchase the DVD. I will not have health insurance after November 2008.
