This film shows how brothers drove so far apart.. and after all the anger and hurt is gone! and tommy is finally told, his older brother loves him. The realisation that there dont have to be hurtinng no more beggins to kick in! this film gets an easy 10/10 from me brought a tear to my eye
my little brother leaves this year for basic two weeks after he graduates then he has two years of traing for special forces. this song reminds me that everyday is one day closer to him leaving and it scares me that i may lose him. he and i argue alot but he is my little bro and i love him to death. i will say this i love and respect our military more than words can express

As well sorry about the loss of your brothers..I don't know the circumstances but I do know I do see many people die from disease, war, drugs and a lot of other things. The saddest thing for me is I have a brother who won't have a relationship with me (for I have no reason why) and it is the only thing in my life that brings me to tears
One of the Greatest movies of ALL TIME ... Extraordinary Acting, Great Emotions and Story line....first action movie that made me cry... and first movie in which i cried 2 times ... the scene of Tommy caressing his father ..and the last scene.... Deserves Top awards..truely
This movie hit me hard. Like Tommy and Brendon, my father wasn't exactly role-model material, and Nolte's performance where he shows that he is genuinely hurt by the pain he caused his sons early in their life is heartbraking.
Personally I wanted Tommy to win, I started tearing up when he kept fighting even though it was already over... you could just see the pain he was feeling knowing he was going to lose and not be able to fulfill his promise to his fallen comrade.

The movie & this song I could truly relate to. Lost my (youngest) brother on 9/15/88, after my 23rd birthday & months before his 17th. I'm the oldest of 3 brothers & 1 step brother; we went through a lot. We all loved the martial arts. Shane was training to join the Marines or Army. I did not go home for my birthday weekend -- thought I'd see him the next weekend - but a drunk driver killed him a day before I was to be there. We had much unspoken between us & the movie/song reminded me of that.

While looking up info on the actor who played Tommy in this movie (who reminded me so much of my brother Shane per above), I noted Tom Hardy's birthday of 9/15/77. That struck me as my brother passed away on 9/15/88. Sometimes we are reminded there is much beyond the grave. Although many things between my bro and I regretfully went unspoken, the love and our bond remain beyond his death. Peace my brother...

If this movie doesn't get Best Picture,...I can't think of a more perfect movie that came out in 2011, in fact Warrior is one of my all time favorites.
