@izauze I understand what you're saying, but when I picture how I would do this, it would all be literal. The first stanza seems like the two kids playing make-believe more than actually talking about tree houses and carrots, but everything else seems to be quite literal, and I would like to see an interpretation of it that actually plays like a movie, with an actual mom actually stabbing a fork into Daddy's shoulder.
