it sucks? i dont mean to rail you right now but please dont say that again....its a beautiful thing that your country has the intelligence to enforce a law like that...dogs are living creatures not cars, you cant just take them into a body shop and start stripping things away so that you can look "badass" walking down the street. there are plenty of tough looking breeds you can have, including the all natural dobie. please people can we end american ignorance...tried of being ashamed to be usa.
@haeselian thank you for being unintelligent and proving my point further. a dobermans look is not with crop and dock. that look has been forced upon it by owners. If you crop a doberman then you definitley did not choose it for how it looks, you chose it so that you could control how it looked. and if you are so insecure of a person that you are willing to spend, sedate, and put that much time into your animals cosmetics then you need to get yourself in a therapist chair.
@MrJdp1949 do u really think that? all im saying is that people choose their breed of dog for the way it looks, and a dobie is most commonly known to have pointy ears. one of my neighbors has a dobie with it tail and ears unchanged and i didnt realise it was a dobie til some told me. i would never get a dobie coz its illegal to crop and dock in my county. U will be glad to know i have 2 dogs in my family home a bull terrier and a staffy cross, they are both healthy and happy :D
@haeselian that's good, im not trying to talk shit over youtube and sound superior, and yes i completley agree that look is what they are known for...i fell in love with dobies because of their pointed ears and tails, i thought they looked tough as nails... but after i researched that and discovered it wasn't natural and that it serve no beneficail medical purpose i realized it was the most ridiculous thing people do...this world has gone to far when we perform plastic surgery on dogs you know?
He might have floppy ears but his jaws as powerful as any american with cropped ears mine has his tail and floppy ears thats how there meant to be hes a fine speciman
i know it sucks cant crop them over here its against the law under cruelty to animals act but ears up or down long or short tail hes still pedigree european bloodline doberman to the bone hes 1 now and frikin huge
