HOLY @&!#! look at the details! the camera shake effects, depth of field, head of the driver and its movements, the environment, sound effects, and the car itself. SO REAL. I salute the makers of this game! Can't wait to have GT5! I think this is 95% simulator and 5% video game, just an opinion.

You guys/gals out there who comment on the sound, what type of sound system are you running the game through? In my experience, the sound in the gran turismo games has been pretty top notch. One of the best examples is the carbon r34, the minute i floored it the rear speakers just exploded into life, they were that awesome and that is with dolby pro logic II, goodness knows what the F40 will sound like now that PS3 supports Dolby Digital.
yea they always sound good! they jus mad that they cant afford surround sound and they have to listen from there piece of shit 19in. tv! fuckin haters, everyone that talks shit about gt5 on here is basically gonna buy the game, thats why they come on youtube looking up gt5 videos in the first place. they just talking shit cuz they have nothing else to do.

Until they make tyres with a volume control, they'll always squeel. Havn't ya watched top gear, everythin the stig drives round the track squeels.

Not really, the tire sounds from GT1/2/3 are completely different from GT4.
They're still improving though.

after the update the tire sounds are muffled and you can barely hear them. as for cars...they sound like there from pgr now..
