  • Where's is part 2 ???

  • GUYS! Start on New Giunea, then build up. Asia is the most difficult place to hold, so sweep it ALL out and corner your enemy in North and south America. DOMINATION.

  • @TheDarkone1111 Gee, you two surely don't know how to throw dices :D :P :P

  • the most important country is the "middle east" in this game. a tipp from me ;)

  • @32stealthindustries Middle east has 6 borders, making it a powerful country to launch attacks from. it is easy to defend, as you can combine forces there if attacked from east or west. and it is a necessity for Asia, and the easiest place to deny control of the continent. Russia and china also have six borders.

  • every game of risk feels like the longest game

  • I had a battle with 65 units vs 64 units

  • How does a game even last more than like eight hours? With two people, some1 will have the upper hand by the third turn, as long as their both going for complete continents. Playing other variations like 2210 (playing without the 5 turn cap) take much MUCH longer, and the longest Ive played of that was 8 hours or so, but the longest game of normal Risk was like 5. Even with more people I havent gone higher than six 1/2 hours.

  • @russellkid117 I played a game that lasted roughly a week. It was a 5 person game if I remember correctly, and we played straight down to the last man standing.

  • Dude one time me and my friend played Risk straight for 34 hours straight for 15 days, this is definitely not a game for the feint of heart. But I would expect any newb to be satisfied with a measley ten hours of gameplay. Challlenge me I dare you. I'm like a lightning monkey on aderol.

  • its big streve peet talking now me and my mate dave are down the hope a the moment and we ent taking kosh of nobody you fuckin rat look here mate i dont like you and i dont like your SHITE vids they are BOLLOCKS you cunt i seen more talent in a turkish nugget in a prison and trust me bud you dont wanna go to a turkish prison my pal dave hall aka d dot hall was sentenced 56 lifetimes . was hard fuckin times for the lad but that didnt stop the trooper. people like you got strung up in stoke

  • To be continued? And this is from 2006?

  • wow, that guy is obnoxious.

And we have had much longer games.

  • my risk game should not take that long to play i usually finish in like 3 hrs

  • good game

  • I have never played risk to end. We played for 6 hours one day and next day we played for around 10 hours. But then i was winning and they began to whine and gave up :)

  • our average time in risk 2210 ad is 4 hours ;D

  • @TheDarkone1111 That is pro mad bro :D

  • who won?

  • When i have an artillery vs an infantery and the infantery wins, i have to eliminate the artillery from the board? thank you

  • for hitler, he loses after one turn.

  • @CoD6HModthedeisel rofl dude ive seen that its so funny

  • why do you throw the defense dice first?

  • I won risk on turn 4... wtf?

  • lol we play this game at christmas every year and it gets very serious. hahaha we didn't finish it a couple of years back, so we put all are objective cards in a sealed envelope and counted the amounts of units we had in each specific provenance.

  • @SeigeCJ Nuclear,it's pronounced Noo-cle-er

  • @Keepskatin I never even mentioned Nuclear.....

  • It all depends on how the game is played..if decision-making takes awhile, if you are playing by the standard trade-in amount or up by one amount, how many players, how good the players are, etc...There are a great deal of factors which determine how long a game of Risk or any board game for that matter will take..

And, yes..There is a "12 army per territory rule"..it depends on what version you grew up on, and if you are simply knowledgeable about new and old rules..

  • Best game eva!

  • I prefer the online Lux!

  • RISK games tend to take many hours to finish but that's not a bad thing. The problem is that some people get bored easily and quit. It's really hard to find pure, dedicated players that can actually sit down and play RISK for hours and hours and not complain!

Let's face it,like Chevalier de Fronsac says in Brotherhood of the Wolf:

"A hard victory is a real joy"

  • i have been playing one game for the past 2 weeks. we've only been able to play 3 times because of school but each time we've played for at least 4 hours. we are up to the point that we get 70 pieces for turning in cards

  • i have been playing one game for the past 2 weeks. we've only been able to play 3 times because of school but each time we've played for at least 4 hours

  • @TheDarkone1111 How can a game played by the rules will last somewhere between 98 and 135 hours? Even playing at a leisurely pace, the cashed sets usually reach 60 troops within 4-6 hours, and it follows that opportunity cost of taking out opponents and securing their cards becomes extremely great at that point. I can see 10 hours, but 100 or more? Were you guys jacking off for each country taken?

  • @ultimatejoeshmo HANG ON... Are you saying that your NOT supposed to jack off after taking a country?! I guess i've been playing wrong!

  • Neeeerds

  • Play Risk 2210AD. its awsome

  • @imchoppingscrew well we will just keeps getting more and more pieces and we just play the normal way just we play so long that we run out of pieces and have to use other colors..haha kinda confusing but it makes sense

  • haha me and my brother usually play with his girlfriend and we start taking over so many places that we usually have to use to colors!! haha its hilarious

  • the only thing i remember about risk is

1 soldier always > Tons of tanks

  • I've played games of Risk that have lasted 3 days.

  • Not the biggest battle ever, I trust that others have had bigger includeing myself. But a large one at that.

  • can you dio world domination in risk?

  • i would love it if it was not dependent on dices!!! come on

  • @fadyb56

I know what you mean... An army that is greatly outnumbered can just wipe out any attackers with a bunch of lucky rolls. But still, there is a lot of strategy required, as well as luck, just like in real warfare.

  • So simple, so fun... =)

  • its like warhammer but not in space.

  • @Justkewl22 i dont know what you are asking here, if your asking me if my game is the longest recorded game, i highly doubt it, but the game did go for 10 hours, i bet there are hardcore risk guys though that have gone on for so long that we wouldnt even be able to imagine how long they played

  • i love this game but suck at it bad...

  • i doubt youve beat my 7 hours record. me and my friends got really high and we played for 7 hours.

  • @Pravibosanacc

    What did you smoke?

  • @HHHdahman silver haze amsterdams finest

  • I've only played RISK once and it was enough to last me a lifetime!

  • funny Siam's always a hotspot when we play the game too

  • greatest board game ever

  • I have a couple strategies:

    1:

Stock up on like at least 50-60-70 guys in Alaska. Then once your ready, go through to Asia and just take that continent over. Very powerful.

    2. (the joke strategy)

ONLY take Australia. put AS MANY CANNONS AS POSSIBLE on Indonesia OR Siam. after that, put 1 footsoldier in each country in Australia. That way you will never lose so long as you never move any. **NOTE I reccomend not investing into Siam. You can get cards by repeatedly taking Siam.

  • Anyone that like Risk and Halo, Go get Halo Wars Risk, I'm getting it

  • risk2210 ad is better

  • yaa a good vid for the 1st time today lol

  • Ahh, this brings back memories.

  • try going for australia its esiest to defend if you own all of it. if you keep a lot of guys in indonesia your pretty mutch unconcerable. its also usful if its to ppl on to ppl [let one foe have sian and only he can attack you]

  • is there a longest risk game ever ( part two?)

  • Could somebody on hear teach to play risks? I know some of the basics of the game but there are somethings I dont's understand about the cards and the position of the armies.

  • i will

  • Thank you. When setting up the game do players place only one army or two armies in each territory that is on their corresponding card. I was told in the RISK book of rules that a player was only allowed to place one army in each territory they occupy. But in Wickipedia the rules said players could put their two armies in each territory.

  • Only one

  • starting off, depending on how many people are playing, you get a certain amount of troops. each player does a grab bag taking turns putting ONE troop in ONE territory (try going for all of Asia). After all the teritories are taken, put more of your remaining troops in your territories.

  • If two people are playing it would be two armies for each player and each territory. Right?

  • The game should be played with 3 people

  • But in a two player game isn't there supposed to be a third army playing which is called an Allied Army?

  • The third army is usually neutral

  • And can both both conquer the territory that the neutral armies are in?

  • I dont think so. Try google

  • I really hope I'm not annoying you.

  • GOOGLE :D

  • Thanks.

  • I love how everyone says they played longer but it doesnt even say how long this was played haha.

  • "wait wasn't that 1 and 1"...yes it was, go back and start again

  • i had a risk battle yesterday, i deffended Kamjacta with 32 men, he attacked with 30, i won, and with 7 left, he attacked with a second wave, resulting in him losing 40 men to my 32

  • lol

  • longest ive ever played was 6 hours

  • is this game hard?

  • I hear hockey in the background...

    Jim Hughson.

  • well i doubt this game went for 10 hours, cause thats the longest ive played, the northeast blackout in 2003, august 14th, my birthday, me, my bro, 2 cousins, we played for 10 hours till the game ended and listened to an old metallica tape on a ghettoblaster with batteries....by candle light, so i doubt this was the longest game ever, and im sure theres games way longer then ive ever played

  • @daniccus Sweet dude i did that in college we would have games that we start at like 8 and end at 2 in the morning

  • @carsonmccullar your not in college... Carson...

  • @44rears Dude my dad was on my account

  • @daniccus haha mines august 15th

  • @daniccus sounds like a fun time!

  • @daniccus my playthrough is ALL on youtube, over 12 hours BEAT THAT

  • @daniccus ive played longer than 10 hours 10 hours is normal for this game :P

  • @daniccus

    Best. Childhood. EVER!

  • @daniccus Hell yeah man, METALLICA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • your probably playing against your self

  • noway i did play against 2 other players

  • I play Risk all the time and I've never heard of 12 being the highest number of troops allowed in a single territory. I have however played where you cap the number of troops gained through a cash out of three cards. And, most importantly capping a person's troop limit at whatever is in their box. No troops on paper!

  • Hey! There is a cannon, a calvaryman and several men on Siam! You're only allowed to have 12 men worth in one country at a time! Its in the damn rules!

  • Really??

Wow that makes the game soooo much more fair. Cause my friends beat me by just putting (literally) 40 guys in one country

  • no.

  • That is listed in the section for OPTIONAL GAME VARIANTS for challenge. It is not a rule unless you decide you want to include it.

  • don't get your panties in a bunch

in the back of the rules book it says you CAN put a limit down so that you can only have up to 12 men in one territory (you said country, they aren't all countries - they are called territories) but this is a stupid rule in the back of the book to make the game different

    and it's stupid

  • first off I go commando.

secondly, the rule helps out when you are playing six players.

and finally, if you have a link that goes all over, it doesn't matter if you put 30 guys on one "territory" or if you just roll the dice and then pull them from across the board when you lose.

  • wow ... you really don't know how to play the game

in the normal game you can put as many as you want on a territory

and your troop movement or "fortify move" is from one territory to another touching territory and you have to end your turn

the rule about being able to move your guys multiple territories is in the back of the book as a way to speed up the game

    but it isn't fun

you can only move one territory at the end of a turn

that's the rules and your "link" idea is dumb

  • i assure you dude, I have been playing this game for over 15 years and I know these rules and all the little tricks forwards and backwards.

  • as LordTharrion was saying those are listed as "optional game variants" and they aren't strict rules

you only fallow them if you want

and if you want it to be a fun game then you don't want to play with the dumb rules

  • once we do not have enough soldiers...

  • Taking Asia isn't the tricky part...its keeping it when everyone else attacks you to make sure you don't get the damn 7 extra men!

  • pick a country!

  • Attack HAS to roll first...wtf?

    Defender NEVER rolls first

  • we had a battle once, I had 300 soldiers in units, and my brother had about 450 soldiers in units. He had them all in alaska, and i had all of mine in Kamchatka. The battle lasted about 15 minutes, and once i had finally surrendered i had about 100 soldiers in units and he had only 20. I battled him in alaska, and was able to invade his poorly inforced territories in america. I won that game :)

  • i love this game!

  • @nxgcfxbvvgnffhfg i know i beat my dad and he was the best guy to play

  • It's the same like in the pc game Risk!

  • i've seen bigger -.-

    this fails miserably

  • I love Risk, but the oldschool Risk. Like with the colourful blocks.

  • Im playing right now(taking a break) i have all of Australia, half of asia covered with my men. Im fixing to double cross my brother =p

  • rofl i heard ufc in the back round and they were playing risk rofl it also sounded like it was ordered live ufc

  • im pretty sure it said 49ers and 3rd and 4...so not ufc but football...bright one aren't ya

  • click on my username to download risk game to your pc for free

  • We are gonna play a game like this in World History but trying to simulate WW1,,,,I was chosen to lead Germany and Austria.....the battlefield is only Europe and the nations are German,Austria-Hungary, and Ottoman Empire as The Axis

And Great Britan, Russia, and France as Allies

  • The colours on the board are different from the colours on mine

  • maybe your colour blind

  • Maybe you haven't seen my board

  • maybe you are all of you to crazy :l

  • maybe...

  • one time when i was playing this game i kept rolling Fives and Sixs how cool is that

  • this game is ballz

  • i have a diffrent.

  • The version I used the army were Roman numerals.Have to keep your wits if you drink beer.

  • I spent a few days at my friends house when I was younger. The whole time we played risk. I stayed for 3 days and we didn't even finish.

  • ive played risk for 6 hours straight with team doubles (6 teams of 2 people)...you switch every teammate turns every turn..

  • our longest risk game went for 8 nights at about 4 hrs a night

  • when it comes down to it all that matters in this game is luck

  • I learned how to play this for the first time tonight and its pretty simple if you start to play it instead of watching other ppl do it. Getting hands on with this game with other ppl who know how to play, is quite easy since they can tell you what moves your doing either right or wrong.

  • not the biggest battle.

  • when i got this game, i cant understand it, its too hard for me, lol

  • i got it today and i dont know how to play it

  • um wheres part 2 it said part 1 so it should be part 2 btw where the beep is it o-o;

  • I've played a single game of Risk for days.

    I think I beat you.

  • hmm.. last time i played with my another 5 friends the game took about 6 hours and 30 mins. That was a big game :)

  • I hope they make new maps for risk.

  • Me and two others finished a risk game in under 4 hours; 3 hrs and 59 min. We have not come anywhere close to that since. I dont think we've finished a game since, actually.

  • For some reason, whenever I defend, I always go last and get like 4-6's more and when i attack first, I get like 3-5's more

  • Lol, noone doesn´t play an epic and addictive game of risk. SHits crazy.

  • One time it took me an dmy friend 15 minutes to finsih 1 battle

  • The last time I played this it lasted over 4 hours and 2 friendships ended.

  • lol wow lol

  • yeah last time me and my cousins played this, there was a fistfight over the dice.

  • Holy crap! This game is fucking evil!

  • That looks just like my room, white walls, a couch and a US Flag Hanging on the Wall..Playing Risk :)

  • i just got home from risiko we plazed one game for 6hours,i didnt think that is possible,im sick of risiko...for now

  • 4 hours? thats nothing, i play with my mates and we have like 6 hour games... break it up into two parts.

  • epic board game

  • ive played a longer game where indonesia had 374 soldiers after like 4 hours of ammassing troops

  • Is it me or can Americans act over enthusiastically about anything?

  • WHAT KIND OF COMMENT IS THAT!? *head explodes*

  • haha nice one. You got me

  • Risk is the best board game,

    it's great

  • gay -_-

  • I don't play risk often but I'm good at it. I always put my reinforcement base at madagascar

  • only pricks use madagascar. use australia and part.

  • GEEKS

  • (rolls the dice) "Daymit" [damnit]

  • some ppl dont play right and play with weird rules which makes the geams long, if u play with the rules it shud only take like 4 hours (with 4 ppl) more or less depending on skill

  • just bought a brand new one hella nice..about to start a game tommorrow its probably going to be 4 players should last a few days

  • hi diablo4life21

  • Ok you guys need to play the LOTR risk edition man its wayy more fun ...one game 5 of us had lasted 5 days and like 7 hours each day at the end only 2 of us remained so we just ended it there lol we can never finish risk games for LOTR but its soo much better

  • The battlefeild 2201 edition is the best :)

  • Got it for PC!

  • i challenge all to a pc match!

  • fi
