Some definitions of the word:
1) return to a former habit, practice, belief, condition, etc. (These people were formerly Muslims?) 2) to go back to or return to the former owner or to his or her heirs. 3) to return to an earlier or primitive type. - Ha that's it!!
4) to go back in thought or discussion: He constantly reverted to his childhood. (I thought that was senility?)
Maybe 3) and 4) sum it up and you probably are using the right word.

any ideology that promises an eternal heavenly reward for obedience to its laws undermines the meaning of morality.
performing a service in return for a reward is not an example of 'goodness'. its just a business transaction.

Poor fool! Islam is a religion of war, hatred. Read the quran, it is full of calls to war, to hatred, but above all read the hadiths. They describe Muhammed as a bandit who killed, looted, penetrated Aicha at the age of 9, etc. In islam women inherit half, their testimony is worth half of that of a man, 2:282 and THEY CAN BE BEATEN, 4:34. It is gross to see how Muhemmed gives himself the "devine right" to have all the women he wants because "he is a messenger", 33:50. Terrible religion
