I saw this when I was in Japan, but unfortunately I know next to no Japanese, and couldn't communicate my desire to buy the cards for the game, the guy probably thought I was a fool pointing at the machine then miming invisible cards. I still would like to know where to get them as I occasionally stop in Japan when travelling between Australia and England. It would be pretty cool to build up a collection over several years, I would probably suck at the game though, as I can't read Japanese...

Wikipedia will tell you. And there is no cap on how much a DS cart can hold. 512mb is the upper limit that youll find, but generally theyre no more than 160mb. if they released a DS game with 512mb itd cost a reasonable ammount more. infact itd probably be cheaper just to have it as a dual cartridge game.

its not obtainable!!!! its only in japan...its a card game. you get a card whenever you play and then theres this barcode scanner. every card has a barcode and when the machine reads it your monster or item or magic card will be played onto the machine. it in a gaming zonenormally outside cinemas adn theatres so if you want to play then pay at least a $1000 flight to japan!!!!!!!!

Looks like one of those japanese arCARDgames: You buy a gamer card with your information saved on it. Then you insert it into an arcade and play. Probably also against other players. That´s at least what I think this is.

Game looks really great. Has many ideas I would like to see them put into the next main series Monster title. And I'd like to see a DQ game like this on a console. Heck, I'd be nice to see a DQ game with this much detail and production value put on a console.

Or just another DQ Swords with the new Motion Plus option Nintendo announced....and minus the horrible localization/voices.
