a humiliating strategic military defeat. The head of the old iraqi army was never found or captured. The US made deals with terrorists inorder to save face. shocking betrayal of allies.

Seeing the last convoy leave Iraq and the gate closing behind them puts a lot of minds to rest knowing that their loved ones are no longer in harms way. But, for some of us, it simply opens another gate in our lives. So many of us have left pieces of ourselves over there, and now, we will never get them back.
