I am SO guilty of under-utilizing the awesomeness of LinkedIn. Don't know why ... but I keep bypassing it for other business-building tasks. Well, it's time to get LinkedIn out of my back pocket and head on over to the "Answers" feature and check it out. I'm just going to need to re-vamp my current marketing plan to weave in some time each week for this activity. If I don't actually incorporate LinkedIn into my marketing activities - trust me - it will still stay hidden in my back pocket. :)
I've used Answers a few times and have made some nice connections. I do, though, need to spend more time in LinkedIn! Thanks, Denise, for sharing your expertise.
I recently used Answers to do research for an article. I received 27 responses, chose the best of the best and was able to write a well- rounded article with a variety of perspectives.
Like Kathleen who commented above, I too have found several new uses for LinkedIn. I am now reaching out to more of my business contacts and will be regularly checking the Answers area - engaging in the conversations.
I've allowed my linkedIn account to languish, but no more. Denise's videos helped me make sense of linkedIn, and to understand why it a necessary networking component.
"Give before you get" should be everyone's networking mantra, online and off.
Many people are just beginning to see the benefit of using Linked In, especially for getting introduced to others through groups. Thanks for sharing!
