Betty voted against the legislation to discontinue taxpayer funding to ACORN. Luckily, the bill was overwhelmingly passed in spite of her vote. It is disgusting that she wants US to give a corrupt organization our money. She is sexist. I don't understand how she cannot be appaled at this organization who gave advice on how to import underage girls as prostitutes and write them off on their taxes at the brothel.... all this on our (struggling) dollar! How can she call herself a woman? Sick!

She voted against the acorn bill and is now proposing the ACORN (Against Corporations Organizing to Rip-off the Nation) Act, which "prohibits the Federal Government from awarding contracts, grants, or other agreements to, providing any other Federal funds to, or engaging in activities that promote certain corporations or companies guilty of certain felony convictions."
