WTF? Anyone regardless of nationality can review cars well, whether Canadian, German, or Ethiopian. It's just a matter of having a lot of experience with different cars, a lot of knowledge on the industry, and good language skills. And by the way, Canada makes various cars, and Magna is major supplier for the industry.
They also designed Mercedes' all wheel drive system. What, you thought that the company who's badge is on the car designed and built it all? No, they outsource various things and then market it as their own since they commissioned the design.
I leased a 2006 Freestyle and it has been a perfect gem... absolutely no troubles, no shakes, no rattles, nothing... a confident companion... and it went thru 26" of snow like it was driving in july... The Freestyle handles everything I need to do and can fit anything within reason in it. I'm always amazed how much room is in this car. I have loved everyday in my Freestyle. My only complaint is that it was boring looking. My lease is up in October of this year and I plan on getting a FLEX.

Their long-term reliability (3 years out, which is still only a third of the average vehicle age) still lags everyone. Ford touting quality it like Microsoft touting Vista's ease of rebooting! Buy a Ford and pay your idiot tax!
Ford sucks? The Fusion has better reliability than the Camry! I think Ford will sell quite a few of these despite the gas prices, and it will certainly sell better than the Taurus X. It will probably keep some of the former Expedition customers as well.

this flex is still not good design and poor system...

1 - no amber yellow light on the back taillight for turning sign...
2 - wrong gas in hole on the right side while left side driver...
3 - too small windows...
4 - front grill is too close for hard breath cooling air go thought to radiator...
5 - my thumb is turning DOWN on flex

The Flex assembly line is in Ontario Canada. It shares the plant with the Taurus X and the MKX I think...

Magna is a major supplier for many car makers. They design and make a lot of parts. They suppled much of the BMW X3, for instance.
