To all that want Nativity Scene taken down. Why? Just let it be. Does it really bother you? think about it What really bugs you that someone with that kind of faith is happy and feels fulfilled to worship Jesus. What really offends you? Someone who will always be there for you no matter what, who loves you unconditionally. If this bothers you, my friends I will pray for you all. Hey Christians, you dont own this country. Why do you feel the need to put your myths up at public places all the time. You people are so insecure in your beliefs that you have to put them up everywhere to back up your beliefs which I believe deep down you people really dont believe in. Otherwise, why would you guys cry and mourne people that die? Shouldnt you be happy knowing they are in heaven now and that you will see them in heaven someday too?
I wish these folks could understand that separation of church and state is a positive for them. If this were a Muslim or Buddist' holiday display, the nooses would be coming out.

I would just have to say to the atheist group that since they do not beleive in anything there display of notingness is prevelent on county property and they could remove it by placeing nativity scenes, and or crosses next to their nothingness in order to have equal representation of ideas.

Secular history & objective science coincides with it rather well. The problem occurs when people try to use dating methods that require too many assumed variables. (It’s always annoying when people don’t know why they believe what they do or have no basis for it. ... Research is good.)
Separation of church and state was originally to protect religion from the state. Not the other way around. The government needs to stay out of peoples lives. The Nativity Scene does not force anyone to believe the Christian faith. However in our public school systems the atheism religion is forced upon all our children in the form of evolution. If atheists continue to insist in violating our Constitutional rights to express our faith, then we should be allowed to suppress the teaching of evolution as well. I am proud of Athens resolve to fight for their rights.
