Well, if you do a side by side comparison (on any GPU comparison website) the rumored GPUs for Wii U and 720 say something different. Going on the base cards (without any customization which both companies are doing to those existing GPUs) the 4850/4870 Wii U card outperforms the 6670 720 card. The only thing the 6670 can do that the 4850/4870 cards cannot do is DX11 or the latest OpenGL. That said, developers have claimed to have had DX11 capability on Wii U dev kits, so maybe that's moot.

When it comes to changing video games nintendo is on it first. Im just gonna take a shot here and say that sony and microsoft will just keep their same controlers then slap on better graphics and call it "next gen".

The DS had touch-screen which was completely new for gamers. The Wii's xfactor was the new motion control which again was completely new. Sony decided to copy it with Move and box made Kinetic but these all came from Nintendo's idea. The 3DS has 3D which again is new for gamers. And the new Wii U has better graphics, better games that tablet thing with cameras and stuff.

@PLKicen If that is your opinion by all means play on your Xbox. I have a gaming PC which happens to be the best graphical platform, but i chose Wii over 360 because of the variety. And yes on PC i have Skyrim, the Witcher 2, the COD series, Dragon Age, Mass Effect 1-3, Assassin's Creed, blah blah this that, But my favorite game ever is on Wii.

They made the #1 game design choice - "the future is now" with motion control, which led Micro$oft and $ony to be about 5 years later with motion.
What does Nintendo do? Upgrade motion control (gyroscope and panoramic view) and brings in true 1080p HD (before the others) and brings touch screen controllers.
How can MS/Sony surpass that without copying Nintendo?

What i'm saying is that Nintendo comes up with the best ideas which makes their products sell much better then their rival's.
The DS had touch-screen which was completely new for gamers. The Wii's xfactor was the new motion control which again was completely new. Sony decided to copy it with Move and box made Kinetic but these all came from Nintendo's idea. The 3DS has 3D which again is new for gamers. And the new Wii U has better graphics, better games that tablet thing with cameras and stuff.
