as I recall, the giant (big show) chokeslammed ric flair out of a figure four to gain the title and then he in turn was screwed at road wild by hollywood hogan for the title and he held it for almost a year until luger beat him for the belt, then regained it at road wild 97 and held it until sting beat him at starcadde 97 and a following nitro for the belt then lost it at spring stampede 98 to none other than the macho man randy savage. full circle, eh?

@Weasleville Luger won the title 5 days before Hog Wild & lost it right back to Hogan. Then Hogan kept it till Starcade 97 when he lost it to Sting. The next night, there was contraversy over that match just like @ Starcade so they held up the title till Superbrawl 8 and Sting beat Hogan for it then. Then Sting lost it to Macho Man @ forgot the ppv. Then Macho lost it to Hogan the very next night on Nitro. Then Hogan lost to Goldberg and he lost it to Nash @ Starcade 98.
