No mater how you look at it, this guy has created a name for himself in 2011. I, not knowing who he was before the rise of MK, was trivial about a player that grabs my attention the way his liu kang did. Perfect Legend is competent; however, he is a second tier pro. Sure, he is good at Mortal Kombat; but Marn was the best as Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom and you don't hear him bragging about it all the time... Truth be told, MK just isn't as competitive as AE. I doubt he could beat Mike Ross consistently at a game that Mike actively plays. Hell, I am not convinced he could take the new and improved Gootecks in AE. I hope he makes it on the show so we can see him do the walk of shame after a Ross Counter.
I agree that Perfect Legend has one of the best Akumas in the the nation, but Mike Ross has one of the best Hondas in the world. Truth be told, on a world scale Perfect Legend's Akuma doesn't rank. He isn't anywhere near the level of Infiltration or Tokido. Mike Ross is a world level player, even respected in Japan. Perfect Legend is a national level player, respected in NA. Gootecks isn't the best player, but he isn't bad, he could probably do okay against Perfect Legend.

Yo, you are either the most arrogant, self-destructive applicant out here, or you are the smartest person auditioning. I'll go with the latter. Considering that this is a reality show, and the likes of Jersey shore and big brother thrive off controversy, you definitely add something original, or even smart, to the auditions.I just hope the confrontational side of this video doesn't overshadow why you deserve to be on the show.

No mater how you look at it, this guy has created a name for himself in 2011. I, not knowing who he was before the rise of MK, was trivial about a player that grabs my attention the way his liu kang did. He is a good player BUT as much as i am a fan of his gameplay, theres a difference between assertiveness and cockiness the same way theres a difference between keeping it professional and a call out vid. Perfect Legend is competent; however, he is a second tier pro. Sure, he is good at Mortal Kombat; but Marn was the best as Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom and you don't hear him bragging about it all the time... Truth be told, MK just isn't as competitive as AE. I doubt he could beat Mike Ross consistently at a game that Mike actively plays. Hell, I am not convinced he could take the new and improved Gootecks in AE. I hope he makes it on the show so we can see him do the walk of shame after a Ross Counter.

I agree that Perfect Legend has one of the best Akumas in the the nation, but Mike Ross has one of the best Hondas in the world. Truth be told, on a world scale Perfect Legend's Akuma doesn't rank. He isn't anywhere near the level of Infiltration or Tokido. Mike Ross is a world level player, even respected in Japan. Perfect Legend is a national level player, respected in NA. Gootecks isn't the best player, but he isn't bad, he could probably do okay against Perfect Legend.

This kind of surprises me. I've been around Perfect Legend at tournies and stuff and always saw him as pretty mild-mannered and quiet. Maybe the EVO win (at a crappy game) gave him a little too much of an ego boost. But yeah, Mike Ross is prettttttty terrible.

why would you make 2/3 of a cross assault submission video about you bashing another player who also said you would be the first to be eliminated if you get on the show? No offense, i'm sure perfect legend is a good player and i will trust and respect anyone else's opinion but this is just a poor submission video. to people who don't really follow the community but still play figthing games, this video is rather unprofessional, no showcase in true talent and not even clever. mediocre vid at best
