I have no idea what makes you think my tank is overstocked after it had been decimated with columnaris. The bioload is so low that I have to dose extra nitrates for the plants.
I do not use activated carbon as it removes plant nutrients. Now that the injected CO2 system has been running for a couple of months all the algae has disappeared.
me thinks you may have too many fish or could try using some activated carbon and how long have you had your aquarium light on for that might be whats causing the big build up of algae.
Hey VeeSe! My too. I would like this to be over with. At least with the injected CO2 I know my algae issues will soon end.
As for the music.....well, it was called "Theater of the Damned". Kind of described the condition of this tank. 4 months of issues is too much for me and I have begun to not like this tank so much. I'll probably change the music. I didn't actually listen to it.

Hey it's VeeSe. Hope the outbreak is now mitigated. Nice tank. Why the ominous music? =P
