  • 1) Hendrix 2)SRV....enough said! Fuk Rolling Stone Magazine. They are full of college preppies who know nothing about talent.

  • SRV has to be the Best Guitarist that we have ever known. Can you believe those @ Rolling Stone Magazine have him listed @ #12, show's how little they know!!! WCSIII...

  • I'd call him hurricane !!!!

  • Chicken soup for the soul...SRV will always be the one we all look up to...

  • He's so awesome. I hope to one day see him in heaven :)

  • @horsluva0758 I second that for sure. Shouldn't have to buy a ticket either. Lol!!

  • Smooth, polished and in command--the band are easy and string taut at the same time--took years to get to this point--Stevie's jazzy touches and phrasings are right on the money and the way they ended this classic was superb. Always well worth returning too!

  • lets text him and find out if hes there...anyone who supposedly created the UNIVERSE..could surely send a text message...even kids can do that...and some monkeys..

  • Thanks for sharing southparkjoint!

HoleHeaded, I totally agree and I feel Jeff Beck is one who does the same, especially his Les Paul tribute videos with Imelda May & Band.

  • Great tune!

  • Great Channel... Thanks for posting!

  • always best performing in your own "yard"~~~

  • This man is dead...and the GW Bush is alive...and they tell me theres a God...right..

  • @JohnnyNitroAZ Its cause God would rather have Stevie

  • @JohnnyNitroAZ yup and he only wants the best

  • *****

  • amazing

  • Stevie was on Austin City Limits on the TV the first time I ever saw him play. I was maybe 16? My jaw hit the floor! I'm now 38 and DAMN do we miss him!!!!!

  • @reddhawkk73 I know what you mean. I looked at my husband and said " We'll be seeing a lot more of him. And we did and yes Damn we miss him.

  • theres something about "Austin City Limts" it brings out the best

  • Live in Fargo killer show.

  • I like how, even though he was very much the star of the band, he let Reese take over the spotlight, and even backed away from the attention of the crowd so that he wasn't stealing thunder.

I never knew him, but everyone swore he was as humble and shy as a four year old behind his mother's dress, especially when he didn't have his guitar in his hand.

  • And, with this performance, John Mayer said "Gee, I wanna be that guy."

  • One of the great guitar players of the 20th century..

  • that guy has loooong funky fingers

  • I had heard this was a good night for Stevie for a while. My friend saw it on TV and said so.
