All I know we're far closer to the top then you, at least 3 home wins above anyone else in the league. I mean its not like you beat us again this time and you were lucky to beat us the first time, and lucky that 90th minute goal even counted.

Any other time with any other ref I doubt it would've been allowed because to me it looked like the only thing that was kicked in the back of the net was our keepers face, and then the ball just bounced across the line. Our keeper was out for months

Well you can say that about a lot of teams, and Shrewsbury, believe it or not, are also a team which doesn't adopt the "Christiano Ronaldo-whining like a bitch" tactic. But theres a big difference between being a rough, no nonsense team and a blantant two footed tackle to the face, which is what I saw with my own eyes on that day. The keeper failed to catch it, it bounced off him onto your player, and as it literally rolled into the net, daniels got two feet to the face, big difference.

am sure there are times your team get away with things id love to see everyone in the game not dive and not foul but it isnt like that it never will be its a rough sport at that level

It (probably) wasn't intentional, don't get me wrong. Yes Ive seen players get away with tackles that missed the ball, elbows to the face in the box for corners, little things like that... only because the ref never saw them. But like I said theres a big difference between those incidents and blatant two footed tackles 1 on 1, intentional or not.

There are plenty of times that a player hasn't been peenolised for just a tackle, but every two footed tackled Ive ever seen has been a straight red.

yh they SHOULD all be a red BUT not all of them are. ive seen many two footed tackles go unpunished iv done some coachin n stuff and it happens alot but usaly later in the season things like that go the other teams way in other games .. its weird

Bottom line is Vale were lucky to win, because they won in that way. And no, after seeing this game, I now know not every blatant red card offence actually gets a red. Believe or not but every blatant two footed tackle, 1 on 1, that Ive ever seen has been straight red until I saw this game. If he would've knocked it into the net himself fair enough, but it simply bounced off him as he smashed into Daniels' face, thats why you were lucky to win.

Sorry, I know it was a long time ago, but I would like to correct you. It was NOT a two footed tackle. Watch the replays. He goes for the ball with his left leg, his right leg is behind him and catches the keeper when he goes to ground. Just wanted to clear that up.
