The reason that Beck's ratings have gone up is because everyone wants to see him finally go over the edge. He is barely grasping on to reality as it is. One tiny breeze and off to the loony bin with him.

Until then, his corporate handlers will use him to drive attention to their network. Having such an extremist on their show makes their regular news truly seem "fair and balanced" in comparison.
