Its funny how when they're talking about Randy's chin, they say, "but Brock's huge" then they bring up the fact that Nogueira knocked him down and they both get silent lol. BTW Randy has a better finish rate than Toney, finishing 66% of his fights.

Tim Sylvia is also from a striking background whereas Couture is coming from a wrestling background. Take a boxer off his feet and he can't get leverage into his punches, or use his footwork to dodge attacks.

@themmanuts thing about getting close is that it isnt close range randy has to worry about its more striking range, but if Randy proves to the world that he can take shots from a world class boxer long enough to get the TD and get the job done more ppl will like him. Hell I've seen crazier shit happen, like the UFC 81 Frank Mir submition, or the fact that Randy wasnt even wobbled by a full blown Gonzaga headkick!

Being on ur back is completely different than striking, when it comes to how much energy u burn. Toney will figure that out. But if Toney can move & not be so flat footed & dead set in that heavy boxing stance he has a chance. Otherwise couture WILL take him down, even if its a sloppy ass dazed shot lol. Im guessing randy will come out, circle, get a good idea of how toneys stance is lookin. Shoot in & put him down & pound him out. Elbows will play a factor. lets see how james likes elbows lol.

Ive been hearing some shit where Toney is training at the M-1 Global's gyms in Chatsworth too. Thats where Faildor trains. I dunno all i seen were pictures of this dude doing sit-ups and push-ups. Hes in horrible shape. I cant count him out for his shape tho...good example look at Big Country. Prediction...James Toney DEF do to strikes to the back of the head.
