Thank you so much. I am a visual learner and very much hands on. Once I accept the concept I am a way to the races. Your teaching style is very clear and well presented. Thank you!
You have helped me with posting this video.I love your step by step tutorial on how to do layer masks with photoshop elements.Whenever i forget a step i just go back to this video and it helps me so much. You have such a sweet clear voice that i can understand without hesitation.Thank you!!!! :)
I searced and have watched several vids on layer masking and this is the clearest most detailed. Most assume the user already knows some basic things and skips essential steps but you gave detail and step by step which helps tremendously!
rslodge: Yes, you can create paint splatters by using the brushes included in Photoshop Elements or downloading and using special splatter brushes. Search for "splatter brushes" and you will probably find many free sets.
babycampo: When you paint on the mask with white, it should show the pixels from the current layer. If you want to see just the pixels on the current layer with no opacity, try making the opacity of the brush 100% on the Options bar.
Hi Karen great video, i've just got a quick question, would you know why when i paint with the white it doesn't replace the pixels that Iv'e removed by painting with black!!
Thank you Karen, I had to watch a few times (mainly because I'm tired) but you helped me a lot; I got from zero knowledge to multiple layers with layer masks.
