hi i'm Simon i cant believe how nice ur pool is, i also have SMA and i never had my own pool, hes a lucky kid, is that a bi-pap he was waering i wear mine also but just when i sleep.
Hi SImon! Yes, thanks about the comment on the pool. We really enjoy it. We built it especially for Nate and his therapy. We were blessed to be able to do this for him. He is wearing a bi-pap. He wears it almost 24/7. He has gotten stronger physically but weaker respiratory wise. How are you doing? Do you have type 1 or 2??
im doing great, finishing high school this year and studying to become a teacher . i was diagnosed type 2 border line type 1. i understand about the bi-pap saved my life. i hope it helps Nate also. blowing bubbles is also good therapy
@crippled0 I was trying to reach you at @crippled0 but it did not work so I will ask you here. I have a nasty progressive DX I am looking at some power chairs Invacare TDX SP, Jazzy Select, Hoveround, Could you tell me what you think of these makes and is their any other good ones? I was shocked to learn a Sip and Puff power chair is $35,000. and the Sip and puff control is $5,000. alone. Most quads I know have manual chairs. My chair will be $5,000, for the most basic power chair
@wheelslarbac yo bro, um personaly i have no clue my chair is free because i'm canadian and my parents insurance covers it. depends on what you use the chair for. like i'm 19, im always outside and my chairs good make but i break it alot doing stupid stuff. i thnk i had a jazzy when i was little those are ok. i dont know what else to tell you bro sorry
@crippled0 Thanks For Writting To my horror the power chair will cost $20,000. so I am going to be stuck with the manual wheelchair and mostly bed since I can't sit in the chair that long because even a manual tilt and space is to expensive. I am trying my best to leave the U.S.A. for Europe where my family ran from because My Auntie disgraced us with a marriage to a criminal man, my family lost about $1,200,000. in nursing home costs which is their life savings for 8 years in a home.
@crippled0 Thanks I was cooking for my grandparents and my dad helped and my auntie did nothing. I cooked my grandparents means and sometimes gave grandma a bath who walked with a walker and grandpa walked with a stick who needed a bath. My Auntie still put them in the nursing home and paid $0.00 towards the nursing home and paid $0.00 towards the funeral. I paid the funeral since my Dad had paid $170,000. towards the nursing home bill since they went broke. It ruined us completly.
@crippled0 Thanks Europe is my only hope since I have nothing and medicaid is not accepted by most doctors and disabled in U.S.A. are in the worst nursing homes and the worst of everything manual wheelchairs never power. Only people with power wheelchairs are those who have medicare or pay out of pocket and live in their homes who have family to care for them. I don't have any living family but a criminal Uncle and criminal Auntie who I disowned years ago are Inpossible. Thanks
@wheelslarbac canada is amazing for medicare, government provides in home nursing, wheelchairs, give money every month (i get $1,000 a month from Ontario disability) they have special independent living housing with on call nurses ect. needa job? they got programs to help you get the job your looking for
@crippled0 Thanks You are so lucky to live in Canada where they pay all the medical things. You are very unlucky to have SMA but if you had to have it at least in Canada they buy power wheelchairs pay doctors and hospitals ect. I hope Europe will be quick with the paper work so I can get out of U.S.A. before I can't and stuck with the horrors of a medicaid nursing home. Anyway the best to you. Thanks for the support
No, they don't share a room. Nate has too much equipment and needs to have a room by himself. Owen is in his room all the time though. He loves his big brother!
i had a dream with that i had that mask on, it was scary because I dont have any problem/sickness like that.

Does Nate and his younger brother shair the bedroom together?
That must be nice for the two boys to be in the same bedroom?
Nate is a nice looking boy, he is growing to be a tall boy.
That is a beautiful home that you have with a swimming pool and everything?
