@v1nchynoobs Gameboy colour games wouldn't work in the original gameboy because they were programmed to be colour and not monochrome, unlike the original gameboy games which were programmed with monochrome and colour capabilities so when the new models were to be released, you could have your favourite gameboy games in colour

@versnellingspookie There isn't really a difference, it was an ad campaign Nintendo put out to get the Gameboy to sell more. They were the same as the original fat version but they came in colours. The commercial was kinda trippy but then again, most 90's commercials were

Your collection has inspired me to start collecting, withing about 10 minutes, I've asked about 13 people for old handhelds and whatnot. Now I curse myself for being so careless about games and handhelds when I was younger.. Granted I'm 17 so when I got my first Gameboy (Green GBC) I was probably 6.. At least I've got the Extreme Green GBP, Red GBP, and Atomic Purple GBC for now.. I'm gonna try to get some more GBC and GBP's.
