  • like the video dislike all the talking in the background. Very distracting!

  • You're seem to be a very nice person and I know how difficult it is to be assertive but you need to tell those people in the back ground to be quite till your finished. Very rude of them to act like you're not in the room!

  • too much background noise - horrible

  • Try making a video when your friends aren't making a ton of noise. By the way, no one can see what you are doing behind the already fluffed portion since the amera person was too dumb to move. I think a Kindergartener could do what you've done. Ridiculous. I want the five minites of my

  • Oh! we do those in Mexico, but as flowers every year to celebrate our Catholic festivities.... we also hang those types of papers across the streets with images cut on them~~

  • it's cool girl!

I was just afraid your tongue or lips would get "colorful"

lick and fluff all u want my Asian sister!

true crafter!!! go go go girl!!

  • How do u do 2 colors???

  • @itsabutifullife123 to do two colors, just get tissue paper in two colors and when you're putting it together, alternate colors and then fold it together just like using one color. hope that helps!

  • The people talking in the background is very annoying.

  • @mshywing sorry - it was a pom making party... not sure if everyone knew what i was doing

  • gross the way she licks her fingers ... ewwww!

  • @hiltp1008 yeah live with it hahahaha it ain't that gross, it's not like i went and touched everyone after, and nobody is going to go up to the poms and touch 'em! you never lick your hands when separating paper? cuz i do! and dang proud of it too!

  • Thanks for taking the time to do this. I want to make some of these for my parents' 50th anniversary next month.

  • How do you transport them to the site?

  • @gahmeep make sure you don't puff 'em until you get to wherever your site is.. that makes it a bit hard if you're doing a lot - otherwise, use a big box and try not to put too many in one box and then just puff 'em a bit when you get there in case they have flattened from transportation!

  • Love it! Thanks sweety!! These are going to be fab for my wedding...! Thanks again!

  • @mleolahi80 we not only hung them from the ceiling, but we put some on lights that were hanging on the walls, so it looked like flowers were on the lights, we also used 'em instead of a ribbon for curtains that hung, so they looked like big flowers on top of the curtains hanging - hope you have a wonderful wedding full of POMs!!!

  • thanks!!

  • Thanks for sharing this video and for your tips. It really helps.

  • Great tutorial! I was planning to make these for my daughters 1st bday - you saved me so much time!!

  • i hate you bitch

  • Thank you for your your tutorial! I made these last Christmas and had to do the side-to side seperation AFTER I'd already hung them. You will save heaps of people time with your useful video. Again, thank you :).

  • good video, but what do you do with them after you make them?

  • @doryfish22 we use them as volleyballs and decorations.

  • your instructions are very clear good job!

  • If the 'poM' was a lowercase 'M' it would be Pom (porn)

    Making Martha Stewart Porns!

  • im using this idea for my wedding ! video was helpful thanks :)

  • Great tutorial. It helps to see it actually puffed out. I hope mine turn out like yours. I think you don't have to worry about a video being long. As long as everything in the video is important and it was. Julia Childs always made/cut/prepared all her food during her cooking show. None of this short cut make it look easier than it is kind of thing. :) Nice work

  • You brought back memories of college students coming to my kindergarten class and making those big huge paper flowers. Thank you. I love making paper flowers.

  • WOW, thank you. These turned out great and will be perfect for my toddlers pumpkin party.

  • This was very helpful thanks

  • thank you for sharing, this is great!

  • Thank you!! And ignore all the mean comments, if the sound annoyed them so much they could have gone somewhere else; besides, this tutorial is mostly visual! So thank you! You really saved me! :)

  • ممكن نتعرف عن بنت الزواج من الجزئر والتعارف رقم هاتف0793974091

  • Yep...nice tutorial but licking of the fingers icky!!!

  • @yvettre1963 hehe noted for future videos.

  • Looks awesome but it was way to loud but the finish product looks amazing thank you I'm going to do it for my birthday

  • Sorry the sound sucks - maybe I will redo it sometime but I hope you guys utilized the puffing powers of how to poof it to make yours look fabulous like Martha's too!!!

  • thank you so much. Mine turned out awful from just following martha's instructions on her website! but this will help big time :)

  • @emmer84 we did 'em for a friends wedding and they looked so funny in the photos - like lumpy and frumpy and i finally figured out, you have to do this otherwise it just looks like two parts of tissue paper hanging hahahaha.

  • Great video! Thanks for the help :)

  • Did you cut down the tissue paper? I know Martha suggests 20"x30" which is impossible to find in stores so I purchased 20"x24". I'm going to give it a go and see what happens.

  • @candicer83 it works fine with any size.. i've done it with smaller tissue paper for baby shower decorations when I wanted different sized poms.

  • Awesome job!!! My mom actually found this video and trie to make one, but some how unfortunately failed. She told me to try and do it and I was successful!!! Lol! At first I had trouble because I didn't have he 8 sheets folded together I folded them seperately so that didn't go to well.

  • WOW!!! AMAZING!!! Thanks for making this video!!!!!!!

  • I agree. The people talking or the TV going was just super annoying.

  • yucky! using saliva to separate the papers... next time you need to get a piece of something damp to touch...

  • @ronmich09 that seems like too much work and i'm lazy like that. hahahaha ok ok, maybe for next time...

  • You were great! Please slap everybody that was talking in the background !

  • THANK YOU! And id rather the distraction be a few noisy people in the background rather than the instructor whining about stuff we don't need to hear about

  • This video helped me out a lot! THanks, I liked how you were casual about it all too!! awesome!

  • i need help... i made it and looks great but its hanging lopsided.. where do i put my string once i staple... i need to hang straight... i dont know if that makes sense... arghhhhh

  • Next time you make a video tell the people in the background to shut up. It was really annoying listening to them. Other than that, good tutorial.

  • @3madsen I absolutely agree. Why would anybody be talking, knowing someone's trying to make a video?

  • @ThePurple572002 i don't think they knew.... sorry....it was just something i did on the side while others were making poms. hahahaha

  • @3madsen I love the fact that everybody is talking in the background when they shouldn't be!!

  • Hi,

Where did you find the 20x30 paper? The largest I could find was 20x26. Thanks.

  • @akinneyeo1 papermart online based in LA.

  • Thanks for the video!

  • i use 14 sheets instead of 8 when i do this. it is a lot more substantial that way

  • Thank you so much! I just couldn't figure out how to do it! Thx!

  • real easy thanx

  • the TRICK is to puff it on the sides that you have just separated to - this way it does not look like TWO separate puffs. For more volume, put two together ....

good deco trick - we used the puffs as substitute for ribbon to tie around curtains. will post when photos are up.
