Before I got this game I had always heard that it had a great story and bad graphics, I finally downloaded it for my psp and at the beginning would always think about how bad the graphics were even though i knew the game was made in 1997, but now I don't care at all, in fact, I almost love them :D I can't wait to finish this game as I've already played the other two games (Crisis Core and Dirge of Cerberus)

u need to press circle everytime u wanna enter a number, n yes it works on the ps3 download i have it, when u enter the code the first code is right 36 correct? well wen u turn right u CANNOT pass it, if u pass the number n have to go bak then u have to redo it, so keep tht in mind

when you first arrive at this villiage "after doing the story line for read" you take the clues inside the shinra mansion and unlock the safe with them,this will cause a boss fight..get the key from the safe then go down stairs to the door on the side..vincent will be inside..after 2 times of talking walk out of the room to leave and he will join you

36-10-59-97 is correct on the PSP version. I think the problem most people are having is the fact that you CAN'T go past the number or else it doesn't count. You have to choose each number without changing direction.

if it is laggy on an emulator try using ePSXe and get the good bios!! also be sure that you own a regular playstation as it is illegal to use bios files anyways, but get good sound plugins too, actually just get a playstation 1......but for you chaos ninja... is the whole gameplay laggy for u? if it is, switch to a new emulator cause that shit has gotta suck......

For people that don't understand this fucking morons video... the numbers are 36, 10, 59, 97.. When you are putting the numbers in you can't pass them and you have to enter them with the circle or "enter button".

hey i also had the same problem but wat you have to do is not go over the number that you have to input for example: if you are inputting 36 then try to stop before 36 and move slowly to 36 other wise you'll go past 36 and that will affect the code to fail. hope this helps :D

the thing is that you gotta find the codes in the game, even if u enter the right ones, but you gotta find them first.. they are all in the mansion, one of them are by the piano. if I remember right;P

You don't get him during the flashback, you get him when your party actually reaches Nibelheim. And even then, I think you could theoretically do it any time before the end of Disk 2. (I think...)
