  • The best tank out of all these is the Oscar tank put in and add more cichild to Ur tanks they are a lot better

  • Put in an Oscar

  • @TheToanduong he does have 1 at 2 minutes and 28 seconds

  • i guess this is a new tank!! cause i can see those fishes are going crazy.!!! finding a way out!!!!

  • @skywalk3r5490 I guess you've never kept molly's or platys before

  • I would stare at those tanks all day if i could. They are just so entertaining to me. Wish I could get a bigger size tank, but i am content with my 10 gallon tank to my bedside. haha

  • Too much effort.

  • 145 gallons of fish tanks in a college dorm = 0 girlfriends

  • WHOA!!!! And my classmates freak out when they see my 36 gal on my desk XD. Though the tanks are bare for my taste, your fish seem to be in good health :)

  • fish in your first tank seem to be very energetic and full of life, but i hate tanks with no cover and too many fish. Even though it may not be overpopulated...dos cents

  • i have 215 total gallons in my basement

  • is the puffer hard to take care of

  • i got a platy . and she is 15 cm big, she is realy huge

  • Those are some butt ugly tanks dude.

  • man your tanks could look way sicker.... they look wack...and you got wack ass fish....

  • hahah when me and my friend go to college together were gonna have a 125 a 75 a 150 and a 55. too bad the 350 weighs 600lbs empty or we'd have that too

  • Ya same here I've got a 90 gallon and a 55 and about to purchase my last one my 155 bowfront that one will be my salt water tank.....and in my other ones are freshwater, cichlids

  • those are some cool fish they are cuter than mine

  • how weird im at 145 total now lol. guess ill have to setup my other 20 so we dont have the same lol.

  • go fishies go!!! ^_^

  • Kids should stop buying cds and buy music from bands who sell their own music and support themselves without record companies, otherwise USE PIRATE BAY.....

  • They really think they should make money from us being able to hear a song temporarily on a short video made by a youtuber who is not profiting off it whatsoever?

  • Go and fucking die music police. WMG can go and burn in hell. You record companies steal money from musicians. You are the thieves. Not the public. You're not gonna see another cent from me.

  • I'm surprised campus housing and dining hasn't done anything. at Oregon State they only allow ten gallon tanks. and i am assuming they mean only 1.

  • fresh water is for pussys

  • O M G!

  • Hey just out of curiosity, what kind of stand do you keep the two 55's on. Im trying to build my own and I just wanted to know what your using. Thanks

  • dude wtf u gona do wen u leave ur dorm

  • check out my new fishyy! i made a video on him!

  • Is that a single dorm room or did you have a room mate?

  • When I was in college, longer ago than I care to admit, I kept a 10 gallon tank which was pretty much the norm for anybody who had a tank in their dorm room. Back then a 29 or even a 20 gallon was considered huge for a dorm.

  • @TheGodMasterful your an idiot. All the tanks combine to make a total 145 gallons. Why dont you read the description? or even the title for freaking petes sake.

  • Haha, reminds me of myself last year in the dorms. I also had 145 gallons total. An 80 gallon, 55 gallon and a 10 gallon. Way to go.

  • I have the same type of rainbow fish decoration. Got it at walmart. What college lets you have all those tanks?

  • @theloachlover what college would even know that he has that many tanks? lol they have no idea.

  • you're electric bill must be incredible...how big is your puffer ??

  • Nice Green Puffer.

  • this looks like something that someone at my uni would do. You don't happen to go to ESF do you?

  • where did you get the money to buy so many tanks???!!! AWESOME!!!

  • man, i wish my university would let us have that many gallons! the most they let us have is 5!

  • What do you feed the fry>?

  • I ground up regular tropical fish food.

  • No. here are plenty of people here that hate the look of that gravel. The most my dad would let me do with my fish was blue. I have black gravel now, though.

  • How much did you pay for the Spotted puffer?

    (Good variety of fish.)

  • Looks a bit like my old 30 gal. setup and gravel.

  • How are you going to move all of them when you move out? Haha.

  • You don't have very good stocking.... But you are very lucky to have that many tanks.

  • to small aq for xhipo helleri...

  • WOW! how much did all of that cost you??

  • you know the puffer needs to be in marine water when its older right.. and in a 30 gal tank since it grows to be over 6 inches long

  • wow the people in the comments here are even more fucking stupid than the other people on youtube

I love fish tanks, nice music too

  • what size eclipse tank is the puffer in?

  • its 5 gallons, do the math, 2 55g=110g, 1 30g=140 so that means the eclipse is a 5g

  • looks like you have a lot of time on your hands

  • watch out with hith and oscars in 55 gallon and btw i have 180 gallons ;)

  • most of ur fish r toooooo small! get some big ones.

  • looks over stocked.. when u go to the pet store look at the tag describing the fish and it might have a mesurement telling you how many inches it is. if ur fish tank is 55 gallons its best to not go over but u can go over 1 or 2 inches.. i have one gourimas 2glass fish 1glofish and 1zebra fish in a 10 gallon tank, its about one to two inches overstocked which is ok.. good luck with ur fishys!!

  • oh my.. thats a lot of tanks to clean..

  • Why would you give such a large tank to Mollys? I would put my Black Ghost Knife fish in that tank with my Gar. And every tank looks good with a Placo and live plants. You do have very nice tank setups though Good video.

  • I know its 2 years later, but that green spotted puffer can NOT live in a 5 gallon tank. It needs 30, at least, so its growth isn't stunted. Not to mention its water parameters will go South VERY quickly in that tiny tank.

  • American cichlids and africans dont mix together.. poor electric yellow

  • im jelous, i have a tank in my dorm but VT only lets us have up to ten gallons.

  • why use up all that precious dorm space with fish? i mean i can understand maybe 20g in total, but +100? your roommate probably hates you

  • why so many views :S

  • let me guess you went to walmart and bough everything they tell you to buy. sorry ass tank. 10g I guess.

  • lol at those mollies... Inbreeding isnt good for people, or fish.

  • it is for fish

  • Comment removed

  • Oh yea? Well. I have OVER 9,000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • well done i have over 100,000 in a 3000g pond

  • Hrm......Damns....

  • Just a BIT overstocked...T.T

  • 5 gallons is extremely way too small for a spotted puffer

  • damn dont u ever get lazy to clean all those tanks... blance maintenace and studying lol... I thought Aquriums and pets arent allowed to be kept in dorms... 0_o how did u get away with keeping all those tanks in there or even bringing it inthe dorm 0_o

Any ways I think that tank with Mutily colored gravel cud use a bit more work.

But i like the idea of you keeping many tanks in ur dorm! Must be relaxing when faced with the stress of skool.

  • NICE! i like all that crammed in one room. chicks love it haha. i think your red oscar will eat your other cichlids when he gets bigger. mine got 10 inches and i had to get rid of him b/c my tank was too small. cool fish! keep it up

  • nice tanks and fish but african cichlids and south american cichlids shouln't be together and if you arent adding marine salt to your green spotted puffers tank it will die

  • i love the music.. is that u playin?

  • Wow!

Firs, they all need backgrounds.Second, they all need more decorations.Third, they are all overstocked.Fourth,African cichlids should not be mixed with South & Cenral American cichlids.

It looks like you are a newbie to fish keeping and have a lot to learn.

  • Backgrounds are unnecessary.

Decorations are unnecessary as long as there is a place to get away from 'traffic'

Yes, the tanks are horribly overstocked but most 'enthusiasts' do this due to a lack of actual space. As long as they aren't dying and there's sufficient filtration its ok.

African chichlids are more aggressive, so yes, you're right.

This person does have a lot to learn, but people learn best by experience. Unfortunately, this experience is going to cost this person a lot.

  • I know background and decorations are 'unnecessary' but those tanks look horrible. The fact that they are overstocked means that they will be constantly stressed, and all the filtration in the world will not help fish die in an overstocked tank. This experience won't cost this person a thing,it will cost the fish their lives.

  • So buying the fish didn't cost this person anything? You're right, how silly of me.

Fish are fish, as cruel as that sounds. People kill them every day. At least this reject thinks they're keeping healthy fish instead of the people who cram bettas into tiny bowls.

Yeah, the fish will die, but they're not my fish and I've learned long ago that telling people what they're doing wrong with their fish tanks makes them ignore you even more.

  • Fish do not NEED backgrounds it is not a necessity.

  • Can you show me where I said they are a necessity??? It appears I never said it was necessary, but that the tanks looked horrible.

  • you need more coverage for those tanks, your fish would be a lot happier. ;)

  • must be a pain in the ass to clean all that

  • wo0o0o0ww you are rich

how much did it cost you all that

  • And you sleep in the middle of all that? That would be pretty cool I think. The pumps might get annoying but such nice scenery to fall asleep to. Nice and peaceful.

  • depends on the pumps, mine is really quiet. plus the bubbles are very relaxing cause of the sound of the water.. :)

  • you should put your spotted puffer in something bigger, atleast 20 gallons

  • kewl tanks........... great job....

  • did u hve the mollie fry in wif the puffer m8

is ur electricbill nat really high runnin all dose tanks

  • looks like the fish are happy, nice one mate

  • how much was the puffer

  • weird i have that same fake plant rainbow hut thing and the same bridge lol

  • Yeah, my school allows fish only and no more than 5g. I made good friends with an RA and was able to keep a 20 with a 6.6 shelf tank. I had to sell my other cichlids though... :(

  • u sure thats not a 75 gallon???

  • I thought I was crazy when I first had a 20 gallon tank in my dorm. Now I only have a 10 gallon here... Your setup looks really sweet, though.

  • im surprised your roomates haven't killed them o r messed with them. I wouldn't trust them.

  • I didn't have any roommates.

  • it's going to be great fun moving out.

  • nice tanks i have 131 gallons

  • u r housing south american fish with brackish african cichlids odd

    im very suprised they lived

  • hahaha that's AWESOME!

    We're restricted to a 5 gal. tank. D:

  • Isn't the spotter puffer a brackish fish?

  • most are but the mollies are in there as food i think

  • I had them in freshwater for a little bit and then converted them to brackish a brackish tank and then to saltwater.

  • yo bro ur teachers must be safe as owt leeting u have that my mum n dad wnt let me have more thn 2 tankss n der my fukin parents

  • search for greenaquarium one word thats a good tank

  • very vibrant

  • oscars are very agressive :P

  • for a cichlid they are generally regarded as peaceful but they are individuals and there isalways the odd agressive one. also when they are growing up what you feed them can mae them more agressive, such as feeders. if you feed them a good staple commercial food suah as hikari cichlid gold or wardley cichlids pellets and others they can be more peaceful. if they grow up with agressive fish or by themselves thy can get agressive, but if they grow up with peaceful fish they can become more peacefu

  • Can someone tell me if oscars are aggressive? Some people say they are and others tell me they have no problems with them.

  • what kind of fish is the big re and orange ?

  • Platy

  • thats the red oscar you should really learn to read descriptions

  • i dont like oscars but the red one is pretty cool

  • nice set up!!!

  • Your tanks were seriously overstocked.

  • who cares! there fish and it looks nice ther not exactly gona die if theres that many of them

  • Actually, if you knew anything about fish or the biology of home aquaria, they would. The bioload would get too high, and the amount of ammonia (present in fish food and fish waste) would too much to handle for the good bacteria that converts manageable amounts of ammonia into nitrite and then nitrate. Even with more frequent water changes, the tank would be very unstable, and the fish could die from poisoning from any of the three chemicals.

  • what is the song???????

  • Well you knew what I ment.

  • How in the world are you going to transport all that when you move out?!

  • I've already moved it all, I sold all of tanks and fish and bought a 75 gallon for saltwater, I just uploaded a new video of it, check it out

  • That's like my dream set-up.

My RA was being bitchy and told me to get rid of my 10 gallon and get a 5 gallon.

One five gallon for two huge goldfish. :(

    Poor little guys.

  • You're right, 5 gallons is far too small for two goldfish. If you're not breaking the rules then tell your RA to go stuff it, if you are then it may be time to find a new home for at least one of them. Even one in a 5 gallon is going to be cramped and need lots of water changes. Good luck!

  • can i just say you have terribul tank decor skills!where can you find blue gravel in the wild???

  • its actually a mealworm, in one of the previous comments someone also thought it was a fry

  • ugh.. dude

    you feed your GSP guppies?

    soo bad for him

and you mixed your oscar with africans?

i hope you research stuff for school more than you do your fish.....

  • actually there not guppies there mollies, and I didn't feed the gsp any mollies

  • from 1:00 to 1:14 he chases and eats a small fish in the tank.. ie guppy

  • lol i seen that

  • my molly died when giving birth :( !

  • When do you have time to study at the school? It seems to me you must be busy changing water for all these tanks all week long? Is your professor helping you with these water changes? Though i love this hobby, trim down on all these tanks and stock up on some study material instead.

  • is that your mollies that are breeding like hell?

    That's not good.

I have a female and male molly. -.-

  • who was singing in the backround? or playing??

  • ummmm are you sure the floor can hold all that weight? cuz i heard overtime the floor might give way.

  • "Actinic" lights are the blue colored bulbs, usually used in saltwater reefs for brightening coral colors. You can also hook up a blue LED or two on the hood for night viewing.

  • what are the blue lights you used called? I just bought an aquarium starter kit but the bulbs are regular and too bright.

  • do you do anything or worry about the hardness of the water and ph levels? or do you just do partial water changes every week?i want some plattys and guppies together but idk if the water hardness should really be neccesary or if i can just put normal treated water and the fish will live. any advice??????

  • thats pretty cool

  • How do you bring all these tanks home when on vacation, my one tank I have at college is a bitch to bring home.

  • I don't bring them home, I lived on campus for the last 3 years.

  • lol, that what my room looks like, just with reptile tanks XD

  • u has a lot of fish. :)

  • i almost fell asleep watching dis lol, sooo boring, get some better fish like ur last tank u showed but the tank looked soo boring

  • what a waste of a 145 if it is one..put those bitches back into the pond and get some real fish

  • Thank god you're not my roommate. I couldn't stand having all my space taken up by fish.

  • what?

  • mine won't breed. how can i get them to breed. ik they usually are great breeders and i have bred them before so i want to know why mine won't. i am a guppy breeder of pure strain guppies and i have had mollies a while. they ar marble mollies. what can i do??

  • some mollys take up to 6 weeks to give birth.my mollys just gave birth and it was like,(5 or 6weeks)so bye a few more females and just a few more males if you want allot of babys.

  • hey nice fish tanks what kind of water does mollies need? freshwater or saltwater? what do you use?

  • wtf

  • Needs an Oscar.

  • around 2:30 theres an oscar in the tank on the right

  • Beautisum!!

  • Nice tanks! Watch the videos of all of my tanks too!

  • just watched them

  • i only have one 75 gallon right now

  • Drake only allows 10 gallon fish tanks. How do you stay in the dorm over the summer? They kick us out.

  • they have 2 dorms open during summer

  • I moved four of my one month old mollie fry to a 10 gal tank to see how they develop in there ( I have like 18 of them fry), but they got stock in the filter during the night. They died because of that. What tipe of filter do you recomnend me.

  • an undergravel filter.

  • They do, I'm usually here all the time becuase I work for housing

  • If you want to keep true fresh water puffers, I recommend The dwarf puffer(Carinotetraodon travancoricus), red-eye puffer(Carinotetraodon irrubesco),or the peruvian puffer(Colomesus asellus).

  • The green spotted puffer(Tetraodon nigroviridis) is a brackish( 3/4 sea water) to marine fish. Keeping it in fresh water for prolong period of time will kill the puffer. Read "Brackish Water Fish" by Neale Monks for more info.

  • i have one that is 4 inches now

  • expensive for filters and such

  • sighs i dont like my oscar because he is so aggresive, but i dont wana flush him :(
