Thanks for those wonderful landscape photos associated to a so beautiful song.
The most amazing is that among all alan parsons production there is nothing to be thrown away. I guess Eric put his honour in producing the best because he knew somewhere his life would be so short. In any case bravo for this video
I've been an Alan Parsons Freak since the beginning and a performer (lead guitarist)
as long. Never cared for a keyboard in a rock band, until I heard AAP. Siren song, Time and Stereotomy are my most favorites. I also had the glory to sit and talk to Alan for 5 min once. Eric's death was the worst rock star death since John Lennon's to me personally. Thank you for this fine piece of work!
@cheezmistr I don't agree on Stereotomy but rather on the eagle will rise again or same old sun. but anyway we all love APP anyway. Friendliness from France where i live
Nothing new. Alan Parsons is gone. This song is much much similar to "To One in Paradise", from 70´s, which is much much better them this. Sorry guys.

@Richard7PF When I was gathering pics to make the video I found this one to be the best. I think its the clock seen in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Askaban.
If I navigate the river (Aah) Would you take me to your island? (Aah) Sing the siren song so I can never leave (Aah) Long and wide Eternity from side to side Lead me through the rapids Guide me to the shore There's a place That's far beyond this time and space When each of us comes face to face with something more If I open up the channel Would you send me information If you tune me to your station I'll receive If I navigate the river Would you take me to your island? Sing the siren song .....
Eric RIP, I hope there is a time and place where I can thank you for your work you have done on this blue planet and touched so many hearts in so many ways..... I am 48 and since I was 15 y/o, I found so much inspiration in your lyrics tru my life....

RIP Eric! Thank you for stuffing every ONE of my friends' and family's stockings! APP versus Beatles -- depends on who had more or less! On Air rocks, Time Machine didn't get the attention it deserves! "Valid Path" is LOVELY! Thank you, Eric! You are SORELY missed!
allan parsons with out eric woolfson is like peanut butter with out the jelly, but their is a time to go out on your own i love their music and erics musicals are a reflection of their past work, i still feel a respect for each of them and hopefully they do for each other by the way erics tribute on piano is so rare he seems to be having fun with it with glasses on too very subtle, quietly moving
This is awesome!!! I was slavishly following Alan Parsons Project throughout the 1980'es... they did cheat me of this beautiful song, didn't they? Or was it the record companies? Anywhichway, it has definitely been my musical experience of the decade to come across an authentic-sounding Alan Parsons Project thingummy again. Much like finding a lost composition of Beethoven or Mozart.
dornbeast T.O.A. was released in 1993 and it was the first album with out eric thus alan parsons used his name on the id monogram instead of project which was associated with parsons/ woolfson, it was also alan parsons last album with arista

Ah, Dear Mr. Lungwizard1....you do great work! I was remembering an image from when mom's relatives visited the states when I was a kid. She moved here from Edinburgh when she was 16:) I want to go to Scotland soooooo much.
Just reviewed this song/slideshow after several months...amazing...this song (and "What Goes Up") have managed to work their way into my dreamlife...profound impact...
This is a very beautiful song from a very interesting album: Try Anything Once by Alan Parsons. The song is written by Ian Bairnson and it is sung by Eric Stewart. Wonderful!
Beautiful song of Alan Parson, the magical sound engineer for "The Dark Side of the Moon" by Pink Floyd. The voice of the siren ( Siren Song ), is just like " The eagle will rise again ". Man's life, on planet Earth, is going to a never ending story. Perhaps, the origins of the human species, should not be sought, in the Dark side of the Moon, but on the Outer Space&Celestial Bodies, thanks to an interstellar travel, at the speed of light and beyond, so far in the universe.
relaxing...

marvelous, thank you (Ithink those are my clan's colors)

It was tartan day on the sixth.
I come from a rather mixed background, I really don't know my color.

Easy to find out, just go by your clan name. There are many sites which will show you the colors.

As far as I remember, I found the picture looking for something that would fit the lyrics. In this case it was: Only when the spirit sets me free...
I found it and it seems to fit.

This is a very beautiful song from a very interesting album: Try Anything Once by Alan Parsons. The song is written by Ian Bairnson and it is sung by Eric Stewart. Wonderful!

Nicely done. I always come back to watch this video and hear this song. Why don't they make music like this anymore?

Beautiful yet enigmatic song. Not trying to be clever, but this is as close to DAY AFTER DAY as you get.

Dieses Lied ist fantastisch und eines der besten, das je von Alan geschrieben wurde. Die Stimme dazu ist großartig - zum Träumen!!!

Ian Bairnson is one of the most underrated guitarists around. He's from Scotland.
If you're a Gibson guitar fan, check out this guitar. It belonged to Ian Bairnson many moons ago:

It's a great video, the music is by Alan Parsons, yes, but not by The Alan Parsons Project.
Just to clarify this and excuse me if someone did it before me.
