  • built for kill

  • When We Say Dangerous We Dont Mean Like Fire Works. According To The Net One Sting Can Kill A Man In 2 Hours.

  • @skarrob obvious troll is obvious.

  • whats a good non deadly scorpion with a fat-tail on it. that cant kill a human. And would be good for a kid p.s. i dont like the emperors I WANT ONE WITH A FAT-tail

  • Drspider1984 I like scorpions particurally the fat-tail.But i dont want a deadly scorpion,Do you have any suggestions on what scorpion is NON DEADLY/ non Toxic to HUMANS that wont kill a human. and That has a fat metasoma / TAIL on it.And it would be alright for a kid to have.

  • Drspider1984 i really like scorpions particurally the fat-tail and do you have any suggestions on a NON DEADLY scorpion that has a FAT-TAIL. That isnt toxic to humans. that would be good for a kid.

  • Drspider1984 what is a non-deadly scorpion that is NOT toxic to humans that has a fat-tail.And will not kill a person. I Like the fat-tailed scorpions but i cant find none that arent deadly you got any suggestions on what scorpion to get?

  • If you have kids around you shouldn't have this particular species. This scorpion can kill a full grown man and do just that to the tune of 3000ppy. Worse than a loaded gun.

  • Beautiful man! I'm starting with two striped devils. I hope to get one of these one day :)

  • whats this song ? :)

  • Ive been working with invertabrates at a young age and im gonna dedicatebmy life to studying them :) and they had thia scorpion in a game called spider quest. I think its this species to

  • how do u clean out the cage if its that dangerous dont u worry about gettin stung?

  • @DaBrownie14 That's a good question, but I doubt a cage holding a fat-tailed scorpion can get any less clean than the places they come from. How can a dirty cage be any more bad for the scorpion when it can adapt to an actual harsh enviroment?

  • What kind of substrate is that? (exactly)

  • Dr.Spider i was wandering,you think a kid should have one? im 11and i really want one

  • @skarrob This is one of the most dangerous scorpion in the world. It could be deadly to u if u get stung. This scorpion ISNT FOR SO YOUNG PEOPLE and ALSO NOT FOR BEGINNERS. They are to dangerous and i think its not legal if a guy under 18 oder 21 have one

  • @DrSpider1984 okay, ummmmmmmm what about a Orthochirus Innesi?otherwise known as egyptian pillared tail scorpion the also have a fat tail

  • @DrSpider1984

I believe newbies or advanced terms dont matter. If you want this species you should get it and take into consideration the risks involved. Guys telling not for newbies etc are guys that want to be unique in keeping these and therefore feel superior before people that want to start keeping arachnids. Pandinus are more aggressive than Androctonus a. Well kept Androctonus species (with a hide) you will even rarely see and they are fleeing rather than stinging in 99% of the cases.

  • @DrSpider1984 About how heavy do you think the tail alone is?

  • @DrSpider1984 indeed his venenum is very powerful it can also kill a horse

  • @skarrob You really have some nerve to even consider owning such a venomous creature, kid. All it takes is one sting and you're already as good as dead.

  • @ryhorn100 no you're not. f you respect these you won't get stung anyway, but if you just wait it out, it should stabilize on its own accord.

  • @SpinninTom So do scorpions become used to their owners just as many other domestic animals do?

  • @ryhorn100 no. not in the slightest. they will jump at an opportunity to 'bite the hand that feeds them' like i said, it's just a matter of mutual respect, you get to know your scorpions' temperament and work around it :D

  • wie heisst das lied was im video abgespielt wird

  • nice schorpie,, i've got two of them and my female is pregnant and she's al little bitch XD

she even squirts venom when she's angry.. be carefull buddy

  • are those silent crickets? they look like the ones i use.

  • 1:30 He's decapitating the cricket!

  • @ DrSpider1984 I've been keeping scorpions for over 10 years but i've never been able to find one of these can these be ordered thrugh the mail?

  • fantastico!!!! ne voglio uno!

  • Great quality video. I would love to get one of those, as of now i have an Arizona Desert Hairy scorpion.

  • Dr spider, i have a question. i recently bought an emperor scorpion. curently its in a 8 gallon tank. the type of ground its located on, are small sand type rocks. i know thats not correct, it should be the coconut thing or something that keeps moisture. i live near a woods, in there you can find a type of soil/ ground that looks alike the coconut thing. i've been thinking in changing the current floor my scorpion has, to the soil you find in the woods (it keeps moisture very well). should i?

  • wow.... thats a fat tail.

  • nice vid

  • 1:31 isnt he gonna eat that head already? xD

  • Amazing! Where did you get him? Bought?, Or Cought?

  • Nice video. I only have 1 Desert Hairy and an Emperor at the minute. But I'm hoping to extend my collection soon :) Maybe get a Deathstalker. Won't be handling it though.

  • The music is inappropriate for the video and sucks.

  • @Mantismash Shut the fuck up, theres always a stupid cunt leaving a pointless comment, the vid is good, the camera is good, and everyone has a taste in music, keep it to yourself next time you stupid bastard

  • @MrRyanTube100 Keep talking. Because I have better taste in music than you doesn't make me stupid or a bastard.

  • @Mantismash well soon enough people will see these comments and realise that you are a fucking idiot that cant respect someones time and effort to make a video of his pet, away and watch gay porn and leave everyone alone, these people look at videos on reptiles, spiders, or what have you to share experiences or memories, not to criticise you fucking mongo !! RESPECTS TO THIS VIDEO AND THANKS FOR YOUR TIME DRSPIDER1984 keep it up :)

  • @MrRyanTube100 I was bashing the music, dude. No need to make yourself a moderator. Other than that the video's production value is pretty epic. You need to lay off the energy drinks, Mr.RyanTool100.

  • @Mantismash nah i just cant stand some people, thats not being a moderator, its called having an opinion

  • sick video bro!! where you get him from?? want one bad!!!

  • what kind of camra do u use? please reply

  • Love these scorps! I have 2 myself. If you have enough experiance and take care they should be no problem.

    Nice scorp

    5*

  • Dude, you are very brave having that at home. Can i ask where did you buy it?

  • wait they sell the fat tails shit i thought they were rlly venomus?

  • i always thought they ate faster....ya learn something new every day i guess..cool video though..good job

  • Australis means as much as South. Androctonus australis means in English the southern mankiller.

  • Elko267 your wrong....Androctonus means north and parabuthus means south lol....nice try though.

  • which is this song?\m/

  • why the hell does it have australis?

it is after all afound in africa and the middle east....not aussie

  • What's with all the noobs not believing ytou keep one?

  • I dont know :)

  • you are so lucky to have a fat tailed scorpion

  • cool

  • jeepers i cant believe you have fat tailed

  • i cant believe you have one of those they are super dangerous

  • Super awesome is more like it

  • these things alwways eat the head first for the protien in the cricket

  • ok usually to own one of these deadly scorpions you must carry a liscense which is very expensive to get.. NEVER handle these scorpions they will sting and when they do you will die... you will have no more than 2 hours to live children no more than an hour... there is no antivenin to save your life....

  • yes but some pet stores only sell them with out venom in them

  • i doubt that because one, it would cost a lot of money and skill to remove the glands from the scorpion that produces the toxin without doing some damage. and two, its going to be harder for the scorpion to consume its prey, which might on the long run, kill it.

  • In Canada their is no antivenin, it costs me 500 American to get it over the border, then it only lasts 2 months as it expires. Not worth it. If you rush your ass to the ER and demand to be put on a ventilator, heart monitor, and blood IV it can save alot of pain in the end. There are deaths every year but in a modern society it never happens, usually only in developing countries. Still high risk

  • Quick! Tell me what is that song called?

  • very nice scorpion

  • Super Video DrSpider.

Bist du auf der Terraristika Hamm? (12.09.2009)

    MfG

  • Ne, nicht, ist mir zu weit und auch keine Zeit. Leider,...

    mfg

  • WTF!!! where do u get all of scorpions at?

  • Dude,I would not recomend Androctonus as a first scorpion,it can very well kill you,and in a most unpleasant way.Unfortuantly, there are dealers out for a quick buck, that will sell any thing to any one.I met one once trying to sell a banded Krait as A kingsnake.Get an Emperor scorpion first, learn its cares and need(like they are from the rain forest, not the desert)and if it happens to sting you(mine never did) you wont end up in the ER on a ventalator

  • man i want one of these!

where can i evrn get one??....ne one?

  • Oh yes, they looks great, but take care, they are dangerous as also beautiful

  • i hav a few hadrurus arizonensis and Vaejovis spinigeris..i found them though, where'd u get the fattail though?

  • I want a tunisian fat tail so much! it def. wouldnt be one of the species that I would handle, but my parents say no way! I expect thast lol. Ill have to wait till I move out soon.. for now I keep a desert hairy.

  • A desert hairy is also a very nice scorpion. I have one too!

  • Please song name ?? =)

  • Sry, I dont know the name of the song !

  • The song name is "12 Stones" from the band Crash. I heard the lyrics and Googled it and found it.

By the way Dr Spider what camera did you use to film this video.

  • fucking beasty tail

  • eww,man i wish i can cure my phobia to arachnid animals, just watching this video makes my skin crazy.

  • i was just reading about these scorps and it says these are known for injecting large quantities of venom, the toxicity of Androctonus has been equated to that of cobra venom.. serious shit.

  • the quality and close up is amazing, you have a good camera for that, what do you use for filming??

  • thanks man.

For filming I am using my Sony Handycam DCR-HC 62

  • is the fat tailed scorpion the most poison scorpion!?

  • one of them. also very dangerous is Leiurus quinquesteriatus (deathstalker) and some others too

  • who can tell me if a big black armored emperor scorpion vs a big tarantula who will win

  • I am sry, I dont agree with fighting a scorpion vs tarantula

  • i dont agree for such a fight either, but if i had to guess, id put my money on a tarantula, the emperors venom is not the strongest

  • My totaly favorite scorpion! Unfortunately it is illegal in my country..

I love your videos! The quality is always perfect. Keep up the good work ;D

  • Oh thanks :) Nice to hear. I always do my best!

  • No problem :)

  • would you die if it stung you?

  • I dont know, and I not interested in to test it! :)

    But they are very dangerous.

  • it kills within 7 hours if u get stung. stops the muscles that work ur heart. its considered the most venomus scorpion in the world and one of the most venomus bugs in the world.

  • lol :)

  • if hell do exists it most be to reborn as an insect

  • Thats some fucking fine photography!

btw, I think that is a male.

  • Thanks :) ... and yes, its a male!

  • Hey DrSpider1984 :] Nice yellow fat tail scorpion. Do you happen to know how to get one?? Coz, am planning to buy one.

  • Hi

Thanks for commen. Sry I do not know where you can buy one

  • you don't trust men??

  • I am not from there you are, so I really do not know where you can buy a australis. maybe you know a breeder in the near of you and he can order some,... sry

  • I am aware of their venom. So why not just tell me in my personal messages.

  • Gorgeous species!

I keep quite a variety of scorps myself but have never tried anything dangerous like this, would love either one of these or Parabuthus Transvaalicus

    nice vid :¬D

  • hey do you ever handle your scorpions? iv handled my red claw he is nice but pintched me lol not hard tho :)

  • Dude, as you can see are my scorpions I have fucking dangerous for people and so I would be a fucking dumbass if I handle some of them. The´only scorpion I have ever handle was Hadogenes paucidens. Only one time. Scorpions are not pets to be adapted for handling. I only work with a 30 cm long tweezer.

I handle my Tarantulas and my Snakes, but I NEVER HANDLE one of these kinds of Scorpions, especially species of Androctonus, Buthus, Leiurus, Centruroides, Hottentotta, Tityus, Mesobuthus,... !!!

  • hey i wasnt asking if you handled this one i was just asking if you handled any of yours i know this one is deadly but i was just watching the vid when the Q poped up srry....

  • I know, and I awnsered! No offense meant! I only told you that nearly all scorpions I have are dangerous o people, so I did not handle one of them :)

Compared to your other scorpion, is this 1 bigger or smaller?

  • Thanks man. No, this scorpion is from africa. He is about 7cm

  • Robust beast! Did you film it from outside the vivarium? :)

Five-start video, as always, dude. :)

  • yes, i filmed it from outside. Its to dangerous to film it from the inside or when the tank is open. The venom is to strong and dangerous for people!
