What a wonderful tribute to Larry Munson! So proud of the Redcoats for that performance. Thanks to the Tech Band for their respect and the Tech fans who chose to honor the memory of a man.
Next time UGAG wants to give advice about being classy, why don't you start with your own ugly stadium where the fans spit on the opposing side. Larry Munson never said anything nice about Georgia Tech. If Larry is in heaven, Bobby Dodd is kicking his _ss!! TO HELL WITH GEORGIA! Good luck with LSU tomorrow......lol
@mattakinbimwalker Where is your humanity? How dare you say something like that about ANYBODY who's passed, I don't care who they are! Life is bigger than college football! I don't know who you are & I don't have any idea of your situation, but I say this with genuine respect for you & your well-being, you really need to evaluate yourself if your feelings in the comment you left are genuine. I apologize for saying that publicly, but I don't know another way to contact you.
@jnolen33 You're exactly right about life being bigger than college football. Maybe Larry Munson should have been reminded of that when he used to acuse Georgia Tech of cheating and rampant drug use. Maybe you should remind the countless thug UGA fans who spit on visitors that football is just a game.
This goes to show that that no level of classlessness can't be overpowered but love and honor. Larry Munson was a great man and I was honored to be a part of this. RIP old friend.
This really shows the classlessness of some fans and this just gives me a reason to dislike Tech even more. I know not all of the fans are like this but this just aggravates me. This was an awesome tribute to Larry Munson. He will be greatly missed! GO DAWGS!
I'm embarrassed that a small portion of our student section decided to act with such a lack of respect and class for a man who just passed away. Whatever, he was the voice of the bulldogs, that's no reason to be a moron. As a tech alum, I'm sorry for our stupid students. I was thankful that most of the alum around me and in the stadium chose to instead stand and offer applause when the tribute was finished.
What a wonderful gesture by the Redcoat Band to the memory of the best college football broadcaster who ever lived. Larry Munson was the best, without question. Thanks for years of memories, Larry! You will never be forgotten by the Bulldog Nation. RIP our friend.
Listen to the NERDS chanting in the background.

No amount of classlessness by GT fans can discourage the spirit of the Dawg Nation! Go Dawgs!

While my blood certainly runs Red & Black, my thanks to the Tech fans around me at halftime. They were all courteous & respectful.
There've been 3 constant in my 47 years: Jesus, Momma, & Larry Munson. Now Munson's gone & Momma don't feel too good, either.
We'll all miss him.

Pfft. Tech student section thinking their UGA-obsessive chants can overpower the Redcoats, much less the spirit of the Bulldog Nation!...
