i don't think you are supposed to have the hammer at that point, you get the hammer when you fight the skeletons, i think he used a action replay, or he used someway to skip this island thn come back to it, you should not have the hammer at this time

In a natural route (mainly Walkthroughs) you wouldn't get the hammer. But it's possible to get the hammer before Goron Temple without action replay by getting the last 2 sea charts in the same visit.

Watch segments 25 - 29 of my test speed run it shows how to get the hammer early.

I don't have much motivation on re-doing the whole game just to do Early Hurricane Spin. There isn't any real benefit (other than an 100& run with 10 Gems that COULD kill the Goron Temple boss in 1 cycle).

i understand that you have to get the NE charst and SE chart, but i dont understand when u mean same visit.

There is a segment of my Speed run (Segment 25) where I get both NE and SE on the same visit at Temple of the Ocean King. It contains some tricks which shows how to get the NE chart without both Bombchus & Grapple hook.

Heheh, I got the hammer before the Goron Temple too, and I did most of these things. It certainly made the temple a little easier!

Although, I wouldn't really say getting the hammer before doing this temple is a sequence break...it's just that the game lets you choose which temple you want to do first at this point, that's all. ^_^

hmm, the only sequence break is very small.

Enter Goron Temple before Goron Quiz.

Although you need to talk to all of the Gorons first so that you can answer the quiz which leads to the "rights to own the metal". The only skips are visiting Biggoron once and skipping the "Find GoGoron quest".
