This game was so f-ing awesome! I found out about it because me and my cousin played a demo that had it. We couldn't wait to get it and played it for what seemed all that summer. A great racing game that is fun, fast, unique and seems to have a character for everyone. Truly awesome :)

Watching those races was painful, using your slide boost and repeatedly taping O on boost pads will make winning allot easier. Also Its a good idea to hang back for the first lap and build your boost meeter. I love this game, it need a sequel.

This is one of, if not my all time favorite racing game, all the character designs are great, I love the tracks, and the gameplay, I hope they make a sequel sometime for it.

The lack of content this game has to offer on a disc is the only downside to this game. This is one of my top favorite racing games of all time. I still play it today.

Anyone looking for this game. Just stop by your local game shop and see if they have a used one laying around, thats how i got this game. It was about $5, best amount of money ever spent.

Keep in mind that this was also a relatively early PS2 game. It was probably at most a second gen game. Very early in the system's life-cycle, so they were still trying to figure the PS2 out at the time.

Who knows what improvements a sequel would have brought, because it never had one.

Awesome list, most of these games are amazing and I have played or least heard about them back when they came out, I used to be a member of 2 PS2 magazines, PSM and Official Playstation Magazine (which sucked but had the demo discs).

Then I sold my PS2 in 2004 when I bought the Xbox and it was much better (mostly, it had great graphics and a lot of great games, but not as many as PS2) and I kinda regret I did, but I just bought a slim and it's coming next week so I'm excited!
