  • What is the cost of the guitar?? BTW great playing!!

  • man you're great

  • Hi I was wandering is it possible for a person with small hands to play guitar? From my palm to my index finger measures 6 1/2 inches.

  • 1.47 - - Smug bastard! Great lick man!

  • Great speed lick. I will check out Dolphin Street for more.

  • For all fresh guitarists out there , easiest way to learn licks is to learn it in an Am scale (pent.) then you implement it in every other scale.

  • This is the same lick that you teach in your other videos -,-

  • Thanks, Bob !

  • bob, my name is also bob, wanted to take the time n preciate ur efforts n time in teachin us leads....uve helped open my eyes to alot of secrets i been lookin for for years ....thx again

  • I love that Les Paull. It souds sooo sweet. Great lick lesson.

  • learned this riff in like a minute, its very easy to learn when you control the E pentatonic well:) Thanks!

  • Nice lick! Thanks for posting!

  • Nice. Can you figure out the solo from Chris LeDoux's "8 Second Ride" song? And can you tab it too? Thanks. I think it's a great solo to learn. It sounds very bluesy for a country-western song.

  • Thankyou for posting this, sounds unreal, great exercise/tool for the novice, amateur and expert, fantastic instruction also.

  • awesome guitar !!!

  • this is what plays in my head when i see a hot girl

  • Sweet

  • Professor X teaching us!!

  • Great lesson... I can play the notes no problem but not as fast as you... what's the best way to learn to play quickly like that?

  • @adampnewsome Practice every day and have patience. It takes time to build strength and coordination in your fingers. A flat and fast neck, low action helps too when it comes to speed.

  • @rotren gary moore had extremely high action though,so low or high action is not necessarily the best for speed, agreed though on practice and patience for sure!!

  • @adampnewsome

a little precise advice to rotren: the anwer is a quick right hand technique. a lot of time i wasted time to improve my left hand with finger style but - and rotren will agree - it's more, if not all about getting spedd in alternative picking. your left hand finger will follow automaticly !

  • @adampnewsome Practice is the only way to build up speed. When learning licks like this you are better to start them at a slow pace and then gradually build up your speed. As you get more used to playing the lick faster you finders will take over and it'll surprise you just how speedy you will be able to play. Good luck with it.

  • @adampnewsome He is SO right! In order to lay fast, you must spend a good protion of your time playing SLOWLY w/ NO ERRORS. And: WATCH YOUR RIGHT HAND! The right is executing the notes. Most of us ignore the most important things such as THE RIGHT HAND!!!! (Think: Baby steps...tortise and the hare...the tortise-you-will BECOME as fast as the hare, or faster.) 120 BPM Clean sounds faster than 140 BPM sloppy. YOU CAN DO IT. I PROMISE!!! GW

  • cant we do this on acoustic ???

  • IF YOU TALK ENGLISH PLESE WRITE THE TRADUCTION HERE

  • Every dumbass on Youtube trying to make good guitar lessons should watch this guy and take notes. GENIUS

  • Dolphin rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Well Done, Great Lesson

  • I've always wanted to learn something like this when I was ten but thought it was impossible...I'm only fourteen but now it's possible so thank you! :)

  • awsome guitar dude!

  • wow, i'm really surprised with your speed

  • should i use my pinky to stretch to the 15th fret or is ring finger good enough?

  • @inhuman96 As long as you can reach, either is good enough.

  • @rotren dear robert! im 13 now and im trying to play this. im really getting on with it and makiing progress but will this get easier as i get older?

  • @JoostVanKommer Yes, the more you practice, the easier it will get. Just take your time.

  • @rotren thank you very much! will your fingers get stronger as well?

  • @JoostVanKommer Yes, fingers will get stronger too.

  • Damn i thought that was my own unique lick ='[

  • ONE OF THE BEST LESSONS I 'VE SEEN!!!!!!!!!!

  • @MrKim7466 Thank you very much!

  • You're awesome, Robert! Love your playing and you always get a great tone.

  • @hylas99 Thank you, great to hear.

  • Thanks sir, your a great teacher...You can shred the blues very well!

  • Awesome lick man, this was one of those finger twisters where i couldn't quite see the light at the end of the tunnel for a while and all of a sudden it clicked! I love it when that happens :D thanks!

  • This is cool. Thanks :)

  • Great scale and you make it seem easy to learn...

  • I thought I was good at guitar until I tried to play this as fast as him.

  • @fortysixyou You are a good player! It is always good to stay humble. Leave this great guitarist the positive comment he deserves (he is a great player), but don't put yourself down. Lock yourself in a room until you can play it faster ( and JUST as cleanly). Peace to all.

  • @fortysixyou I thought I was fairly good at guitar too, then I saw a Robert Renman video. Then I realised that I could be good at guitar but I needed a hell of a lot of practice.

  • half hour have pasted....

i know the hole thing now..

now i just have speed it up a notch ^^

    heh "just"

  • Great lick man, been practicing it 2 days now muscle memory is starting to get it down now but no where near your speed yet.You make it sound so fluid, throw some more of these out there they are very helpful the tab helps as well.Good stuff
