@rrbyn I think the best advice to playing soldier is to aim to hit your target directly, don't rely on blast damage as much.

Note that this movie is EXTREMELY old and crits are no longer enabled in competitive TF2. In general TF2 has evolved a lot since this movie was made.

yeah, the reason he's getting so many crits is because crit chance increases the more kills you get in one life. One time I, with my massive amounts of skill, was camping the snipers nest in 2fort as a soldier, and I killed so many snipers (they all deserved it for being snipers) that I was getting a crit once almost every 3 rockets.

When this video was made, if you hit the crit chance ceiling, you had a 20% chance to crit. That's extremely high.

Now it caps off at about 12%, which is still high, but it explains why he gets so many crits, as well as speaks volume about his aim and DPS.

They later then left (recently-ish) and now play for compLexity gaming MGO, and the current Pandemic team is the Old (08) iDemise team. also recently the compLexity medic (TheFragile) left the team.  :) brief history.
