I think Buckley is taken a little bit out of context here. When he said that Ali was "absolutely right," he was referring specifically to Ali's analysis of his treatment because of his refusal to go to Vietnam (or otherwise participate by entertaining troops, etc), not his analysis of race relations. Buckley was right to apply the Germany analogy to Ali. Like Buckley, I admire Ali, but not Elijah Mohammed. Somebody should post the full "Firing Line" segment with Ali and Buckley, it's fascinating
Anyone know where I can watch the whole interview of Buckley reflecting back on how Ali was right? I wish I could hear more of what he had to say about his interview with Ali.
DAMASCUS SYRIA–OLDEST CITY,NEVER BEEN DESTROYED(ISAIAH 17:1)ISRAEL DIVIDED(JOEL 4:1-4)JESUS SAID,HIS 2ND COMING,IF U SEE DMASCUS DSTROYED & SRAEL DVIDED.IF U THINK QUAKES R COMMON THN BELIEVE THESE 2 PROPHECIES,THESE R IN THE NEWS NOW.JOHN 12:25-26 ANYONE WHO LOVES THEIR LIFE WILL LOSE IT,WHLE ANYONE WHO HATES THEIR LIFE N THIS WORLD WILL KEEP IT FOR ETRNAL LIFE.26 WHOEVER SERVS ME MUST FOLLOW ME& WHRE I AM,MY SERVANT ALSO WILL BE.MY FATHER WILL HONOR THE ONE WHO SERVES ME.HELL IS REAL.REPENT!
We need more so called prominent African American (and of all the other races) sports figures to speak out intelligently like Ali did and stop being indifferent sell outs as Corporate puppets promoting products to people for profits.
I still have a funny feeling concerning how Ali came down with Parkinson's Syndrome.
Information disseminated through controlled channels is a form of communism. Why haven't no other country on this world compared America's history of slavery, debauchery, etc to that of one of the most communistic governments?
