If this guy isn't employed to guard the site and doesn't hold a current SIA badge then he shouldn't be there either. He is also actively deploying his dog as a threat which IIRC breaks several SIA rules and the law as well, which is something the Police can and should be dealing with.

It might be worth contacting the site owner because they are liable if this guy allows his dog to injure somebody on their site. I note from the sign on the gate that the facility is protected by Phase 5 Security.

Just had a look at your photos of Denbigh on 28 Days Later and found this link. Considering he isn't an official security guard he shouldn't be doing this, and I believe it is infact the man himself who is dangerous rather than the dog as he has obviously encouraged that dog to be like that with people. But I still think that he doesn't really have a right to be that aggressive towards people who are only taking photos, it's not as if you guys were trashing the place....

If this man is a security guard he must have a S.I.A licence it is a requirement by law to have one you are not allowed to be a security guard or do any security job unless u have so check this out and report him that will shut the prick up

we were there late Tuesday afternoon being quiet as we could , then went to front gate for customary foto of the place just as about 20 hoodies walked by n said you can get in you know and just climbed over the fence at left side of front gate and all ran into grounds hooting and shouting asking us did we wanna party lol. we didn't accept their kind offer tho.

Thats terrible. I've never been on the grounds, but when I've been taking photos through the gate for my art projects he ALWAYS comes in his van, accusingly, and asks a million questions. He's also followed me in his van, when I moved round to the path thats on the other side, he sat in his van, spying. I was with my dad, filming the breeze blow ribbons... thats all. He's very odd. He has a job to do, but he takes his 'power' to far.

I've been to Denbign twice and have met Elwyn when I was taking an external shot I'll admit he could be friendlier but at the end of the day we are not supposed to be there when we are urbexing and generally people urbex in groups which may be intimidating to an old man. I'm not saying what he is doing is right but goading a reaction out of an old man isn't either and taking him to court to gain some form of moral high ground is just childish.

@spoonman2323 You are right, we are not meant to be there, but this happened on the main road. This is wrong.. There was no need for this. This is also nothing to do with "trying" to get one over on the guy, this is to do with trying to get him to realise what he is doing can sometimes be very."Harsh" and dangerous. There are plent of complaints against him with Denbigh Police ( Freedom of information ), We are trying to look at the bigger picture here, what if next time it is a kid by accident

@spoonman2323 in the 60`s Elwyn used to work in my fathers garage in love lane denbigh just up the road from the NWH and i was a small kid at the time but can still recall he had a foul temper , as he is now in his mid seventies it is true he is an "old man" , but also an "old man" who is very threatening , abusive and violent , which is against the law at whatever age

appreciated beardy is a hassle and its not his place to patrol the building but at the end of the day hes an old man and videos like this will get his dog put down. If roles we reversed and it was 6 blokes being awkward rather than just leaving we'd all threaten to set the dogs lose. If you were better at exploring you wouldn't even come into contact with the man. If you can't avoid an old man on a massive site get a new hobby

@spoonman2323  This was not a case of getting caught, it was the case of by-passing him, for him to follow us up the road to get to us. TBH. unless you have had dealings with this guy, then you do not really know alot about it, and won't have any idea about why we have done this. So thanks for your comment... notes taken. Oh and if the case did go to court and his dog was deamed as dangerous, then if the RSPCA can find a home that may/can handle him then they would rather go down that road.

I have started proceedings about him. I have the North Wales police, Denbigh Police, and Hampshire Constabulary involved. I think with my video footage something will now be done about him. I will keep the right people posted... How long would it be untill it gets out of hand ?.. What if the next victim is a KID ?

I have also been threatened not so long ago by him and his dog. Just taking photos of the place. He asked where I was from, at first I wouldnt tell him so he got his dog out! Thats when I told him, yet he still commanded him to attack me. The police were called but took his side of things. However a complaint is in process and we are looking to press charges, especially since when he caught us we said we would leave, but he wouldnt actually let us!
