I arrived home from college a few days ago and found out my mom had bought the box set. I used to watch the series all the time as a kid. Getting to see Marilla, Matthew, Rachel, Gilbert, Diana, and Anne again was a little like seeing an old dear friend again after years of separation.

I love this movie and Ann of Avonlie. I cryed when Matthew Died. it was and is still the sadest part of this seriers. I still cry when I watch this. lol I want to buy it when I can find it other then the Libary.

my great grandmother and i use to watch this every time i visited her. she passed away in may and i think about her every day because she wasn't just a great grandmother, she was my grandma. she also had Alzheimer's. :( i miss her so much

Love this series to death (: I've always watched the VHR tapes of it that my sister recorded ever since I was a child. Every year, I would always make time to watch it :) But now I've bought the whole collection of the Anne of Green Gables series on DVD. I need to read the book as well!!
