Happy Veterans Day to All Our Soldiers

    Rich in WV

  • Medal of Honor Recipient,Captain Ed Freeman, United States Air Force, died last Wednesday at the age of 70, in Boise, Idaho.

May God Bless and Rest His Soul.

I bet you didn't hear about this hero'spassing, but we've sure seen a whole bunch about Lindsay Lohan, Tiger Woods and the bickering of congress over Health

  • @gyreenedoc And, he kept coming back!! 13 more times!! Until all the wounded were out. No one knew until the mission was over that the Captain had been hit 4 times in the legs and left arm. He took 29 of you and your buddies out that day. Some would not have made it without the Captain and his Huey.

  • @gyreenedoc He's not MedEvac so it's not his job, but he heard the radio call and decided he's flying his Huey down into the machine gun fire anyway. Even after the MedEvacs were ordered not to come. He's coming anyway. And he drops it in and sits there in the machine gun fire, as they load 3 of you at a time on board. Then he flies you up and out through the gunfire to the doctors and nurses and safety.

  • @gyreenedoc You're lying there, listening to the enemy machine guns and you know you're not getting out. Your family is half way around the world, 12,000 miles away, and you'll never see them again. As the world starts to fade in and out, you know this is the day. Then - over the machine gun noise - you faintly hear that sound of a helicopter. You look up to see a Huey coming in. But... It doesn't seem real because no MedEvac markings are on it.

Captain Ed Freeman is coming in for you.

  • @gyreenedoc You're a 19 year old kid. You're critically wounded and dying in the jungle somewhere in the Central Highlands of Viet Nam .

    It's November 11, 1967. LZ ( landing zone) X-ray.

Your unit is outnumbered 8-1 and the enemy fire is so intense from 100 yards away, that your CO (commanding officer) has ordered the MedEvac helicopters to stop coming in.

  • to 4444df4444-your ass is the one is full of drivel--if it isn't for veterans your ass wouldn't be around to exist--and say such stu-pid ignorant shit!

  • wow, what idiot would flag a trubute to vets for copyright?

  • @Craig5233 A fat bitch

  • Sometimes I like to pit my wisdom against other people, is that a problem?

  • To my family members who have served ...

    Claude B. Osburn, Major, US Army, WWII, Purple Heart, retired, deceased;

Richard S. Osburn, Major, USAF, Retired

Richard Pierson, rank unknown, US Army, Vietnam, Purple Heart, Medically retired

  • NOTHING HAS CHANGED: IRAQ FOR OIL & BIG CORP$.

Major General SMEDLEY BUTLER: 33 yrs active service, the MOST DECORATED US MARINES in US history, wrote in his book "WAR IS A RACKET"

As a Military I was a High Class Muscleman for Big Business & Wall Street Bankers ... a RACKETEER & GANGSTER for AMERICAN CAPITALISM & OIL INTEREST

Al Capone operated his racket in 3 districts. I operated for the benefits of Wall Street on 3 continents, under the flag of "Democracy & Freedom!!"

  • Thank you veterans for serving..whether any war is right or unjust..thank you

  • Your video is magnificent and brought tears to my eyes.

I made a Veteran's Day video yesterday that no where compares to yours.

Thank you for this beautiful patriotic video, it really tells the story of the Veterans.

    God Bless Them All.

  • Thanks Dad for your service in WWII's Air Force. For being shot down and spending 5 months in a Nazi prison camp. For my freedom and for your love.

    Love,

    Julie

  • This USMC vet appreciates this video. Thank you for making it.

  • Some of my reletives were veterans. My grandfather's brothers and my grandmother's father. he was world war 1 my grandfather's were brother's world war 2

  • Great Video. A veteran is an ordinary and yet an extraordinary human being, a person who offered some of his life's most vital years in the service of his country, and who sacrificed his ambitions so others would not have to sacrifice theirs. There is no one I respect more than veterans of foreign wars. I look at each one with reverence and awe. For what they did (and continue to do), we should all be so grateful.

  • lazerguy ta fauking raison je suis daccord avec toi!!! this is my opinnion that wasent nice to call you french canadian how dumb he is! and plus i am french canadian he id stupid!

  • Be it Canadian, American, British or other nations some of you are forgetting the point. None us would be here or able to agrue about any issues if it weren't for men and women willing to make sacrifices. Whether you are agree on 'this' or any war isn't what's important. Gratefulness and respect is.

  • Wow, I completely agree with that. All you people that are argueing about wars, just shut your fucking mouths and be happy that you even exsist. I'm tired of all this! May all soldiers lost in battle rest in piece.

  • Go down to the VA and say that to someone's face. That "same old tired nationalistic drive" allows you to live the way you do.

  • my grate uncle was in veatnam.... he was ... any way

    thanks

  • Thank you for that, I and every other American Veteran appreciate any and all support we recieve from our fellow Americans.

    Semper Fi.

  • You left a lot of stuff out. You should have put in stuff like Haditha massacre, Guantanamo Bay, Vietnam horror war, Fallujah destruction, Iraq war blunder, $10 BILLION/month on current wars, American dollar lost considerable value, US economy worsens, a country divided, George W. Bush's ugly face. So when you remember, make sure to remember it all and don't sugar-coat it. Being an American isn't so great after all, which is why I'm glad to be Canadian. Thank you.

  • Im glad you're candian too, maybe one day your country will be fortunate enough to face some communist dictator that wishes to eradicate your brothren as it so happened with the french(french/candaians, one in the same in my book), and feel free NOT to call upon the U.S. to dig your canooks cracks out.

You should be so fortunate to have America to your south.

  • 'Sounds like you're from the French part of Canada - the French ALWAYS have to be rescued! I hope you have your own war some day. 'Seems like you'd just put up your hands and just surrender - your own wimpy option!

  • By the way - Canada has thousands of brave men and women! Too bad you can never identify with them. My dad was in the Battle of the Bulge. He was wounded many times, and was in a full body cast for a whole year. How dare you mock him! I was in Vietnam myself. Bye Bye stupid traitor to your own nation!

  • Wow, that's funny how you call my the "traitor" when I wrote that I was glad to be Canadian and you're the one who made a ridiculous assumption that I'm French Canadian and in the same time wrote something disgusting about fellow Canadians. Yes, keep telling yourself how great of a Canadian you are...no one else will do it for you. PS: Canada was never in Vietnam, so go fight your little American wars. How traitor-like to fight a war of another nation when apparently you're Canadian.

  • You left out that you're a douche, Lazerguy5.

  • Go play with your pokemon and stay out of adult conversation, Rrober119.

  • Don't make me laugh, you actually flipped through my favorites to use that?

  • No, don't make me laugh lol

You're like the dude who has a name tag on his shirt and when someone says their name they go "omg, how did you guess my name?" :D

You mention it in your hobbies, I didn't even have to scroll down HA!

  • Oh, wow, I play video games and I'm 13, go figure. But, unlike 99.98% of my generation, I don't just act like an ass because I feel like it, I do it when someone starts trashing something I enjoy/respect/love.

  • Well, my post from a while back was to condemn Bush and not necessarily the military.

If you enjoy/respect/love Bush, then I feel sorry for you.

If you were standing up for some of the good people in the military and the good image of the United States, then good for you.

  • Whoops, sorry, thought you were bashing the military, again sorry,

  • But honestly, find one of his speeches or something similar to attack him, not on here, where people are paying respect to those who served, because we don't like politics in something that's honest and good; y'know?

  • Well, at the time I wrote that first post, the military became synonymous with Bush and his policies.

There is good and bad in everything and my message was geared towards the bad and it's quite clear.

  • Yes, I knew that, but what the generals want (Who IIRC were with Bush, stopped watching politics after awhile) and what the guy actually fighting wants (Who we pay tribute to in this vid minus those who massacred innocents) are as opposite as night and day. It's about 10 'o clock here and I'm about to log off, anything else you wanna add before I go?

  • You're young... I can't be bothered any longer. Go to bed and goodnight.

  • Geez, took ya long enough to realize that.

  • lol

  • A very nice tribute to all who have and are serving.

    Very well done!

  • Tastefully done!

    Good video!

  • From one who served long ago, I salute you who serve today. May God bless and keep you safe...

  • From a proud veteran of OIF and soon to be returning to Iraq, thank you. I know that all of us here at 2nd Battalion 7th Marines II Marine expeditionary Force Forward appreciate all of your support and encouragement. Semper Fi.

  • May God hold You in the palm of HIS hand forever, and never squeese to tight!

Thank You for serving your Country, and God Speed back home to us! Semper Fi!

  • "Let every Nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe to assure the survival and success of Liberty" ............"President John F. Kennedy"

Thank You, A Proud American Veteran!

  • Thank you for serving....I am very proud of you, brother. Love ya Sis

  • I only wish that Every one serving their Country, had a Sister like YOU! You're just the BEST! Thank You! I love you!

  • God bless our veterans. You did what you were trained to do. Remember, love is hard to keep in your hearts after the bloody battles. Ask the Good Lord to help you get through the tough battles and bring love back home with you to your families. Grandpa Clarence Jones on YouTube

  • Thank You! A Proud American Veteran!

  • THANK YOU to all veterans.

    God Bless You.

  • This is a beautiful video... thank you so much... god damn thank you

  • Thanks so much for adding this.

  • Both of you should be ashamed.. the video is a tribute to servicemembers... and thats all. Go take your conspiracy theories elsewhere and give a video such as this the dignity which it deserves... just think, some of those guys who have died in Iraq would love to be surfing YouTube right now

  • Have these guys heard about the 911 truth? Have they seen all the evidence. KNow about WTC7? This is a good start - 911 -Road To Tyranny -Alex Jones http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-3050705494343492018&q=911+jones

  • I just saw that video. How can you call that evidence? It is just a bunch of images of police running around, pictures fo the capital, pictures of money and a sad-toned song to make me feel sad like maybe I am being taken advantage of. Go lay down at the foot of Michael Moore's bed, I think you would be comfortable there.

  • Fuck Micheal Moore. He had no clue what he was starting when he made Farenheight 9/11. He has started a revolution of minds. There is much more evidence than this video.
