I managed to lock myself in the reticulated python cage at my zoo...THAT wasn't worth it; especially as the boss had gone on his lunch break. The glass was thick so that the snakes were left undisturbed by the throngs of people milling past. Unfortunatly that also made it sound-proof. It was therefore with some bemusement that the visitors to the Hot House that day found themselves looking not at 'Python reticulatus' but at 'Homo sapien ridiculous'. Worth it afterwards though. Good icebreaker. B
I volunteer at my local zoo in the summers lol... I know I want to study herpetology in collage (just two more years till collage :D) but I'm not sure what I'm going to do after collage... Like what job options does studying herpetology open up for me?
Rock on Bill. I can see you doing tours at Ausralia Zoo, Which will make us neighbours. Maybe we might get to have that BBQ. All the best from the Sunny Coast Mate!!
Oh wow see the little tail on the baby wombat...!! I bet many people dont realise they actually have a tails because the tail is the same length as the adult fur, but visible when they have no fur as babies....too cute (and the baby wombat too)

The chance to befriend a Tassie and nuzzle a wombat? Yup. It's worth it.

Did you have to get a Science or Zoology degree Bill? Here you need one even to be the pooper scooper at the zoo.

I wouldn't mind having a job like that, as long as I don't have to work with people.
