also you have the defenceman like kronwall, walser, wozniewski, harrison, and stralman who is supposingly a very gifted defencman with potential, those guys are considered to be from pp quaterback, top 3-6 defenceman. then you have clemmenson to help out if raycroft or toskola gets hurt. all these players have proved how good they were in the minors and overseas. even clemensson, walser, and battaglia have had good seasons up in the nhl.

we should have a decent season with the amount of depth we have, like battaglia, samelenan, gamache, williams, and newbury. it's something to be comfortable with, because most of those forwards would be on the third or fourth line on other clubs.

And jeremy williams has 2 goals in 2 career games. it's nothing to be conceren about it. just gotta worry about getting past the other teams in the playoffs. i have a good feeling that this will be a positive year for the leafs organization. but fergusen is not my guy either way.

i sure hope you are right about blake. one thing is for sure, our defense is much better than it was at anytime during the cujo-eddie eras in which the leafs always made the playoffs, and our offense wasnt bad last year and should definitely be better with blake. if toskala can live up to the expectations, leafs should be a solid team this year

they have been a playoff caliber team the last 2 seasons, the injuries have killed us. If we can get a little lucky by staying realatively healthy, they will be in the playoffs. And I will say this, Toskala is a reminder of Kiprussof, goalies who couldn't get enough playing time, both played for San Jose, and Im not too sure but both are Finnish, if Toskala isnt from Finland, then he is European at least. 2008 playoffs here we come!!!!!!!!!
