I'm so lucky to have mine, the very first time I tried I landed on my feet thank god, and it was at the gym on a very thin mat, I just had the confidence I suppose :)
if i stayed tucked for any longer i would land on my back (i've done it before), look at 0:50 i still over rotated slightly and had to take a step back, not bad though for my 1st EVER BACKFLIP!
so i think i tuck the perfect amount and if you could do better... show me your videos!!!
@julandfrank I don't see why you think I should tuck for any longer, i already over rotated a little, if I stayed tucked I would land on my back! Watch the video again and notice when I land my feet are ever so slightly in front of where I took off and then I have to take a step back to stop from falling over after I land.
You don't stay tucked till you land coz you'll land in a ball on your back!!!
common sense!!
Your meant to spot your landing and prepare to land, like I do...
nice bro, this video makes a gud point that dont give up on sumtin if u cant get it the first time, which many people do. get used to the motion and definatly beat the fear... but very nice. 1 suggestion is 2 practice jumps. jump up as high as possible touching ur knees to ur chest every time. helps with height and tuck 2 give u a better rotation and higher jump of corse. Keep posting, I'd actually like 2 follow this training as it progresses. Once again, nice work man, gud acheivement!
It took me ages to get the feel of it but by the time i was landing on my knees on the crap from my garage it took me a couple of weeks from then to landing them on grass.
I have been spotted a few times before but my bro couldn't be assed with it for some reason.
i went over to a mates house and practiced his tampoline for a few hours and done a couple of rubish ones (no pre-jumping/bouncing... thats cheating lol), once i got home i watched a few more tutorials and perfected my take-off.
nice man

no thank you...

Wow ur dumb. ur supposed to stay tucked until u land, what ur doing is untucking a little bit before u hit the ground thats why u cant land.

damn, great first backflips for two reasons:
You're jumping straight up and not back like I and many many many others do. I am still trying to jump straight up, but for some reason I just can't.
Secondly, you did it with shoes!! Try without shoes and you will fly to the moon.
