@jimhebert Hmmmm,,in over a year, that happens over night in Detroit. And 'vanished' does not necessarily mean murdered.....it could also mean 'rip tide'.

@jimhebert Come on, total exaggeration. I've never paid off anyone. If you're paying someone off you're either guilty of something or trying to do something below board although their are some situations when certain Tico's have their hands out, that is somewhat true. 'Man accused of murder...." you act as if that shit doesn't happen in the States.

Leave all the passport on a savety box. Its better yo use the copy plus a us Drivers License. But never passport in Costa Rica or any place its GOLD.

What do you do with your passport and or passport copy when your on the beach and in the water and surfing, etc.....

@ScottInTheRain We wouldn't take it to the beach. IN the hotel room, hidden, or in a safe. The odds of someone asking to see your passport while you're at the beach are about nil to none.

haha....i get a lot of sh** for wearin those glasses....but i'm gettin too old, I don't need to turn into a piece of leather before my time,,i'm known to wear them even when it's raining.....hehe
