This time of year...1981...Doin' homework while addicted to videos like this one...Best part of MTV was never knowing what was next so I never wanted to miss a minute because I didn't want to miss any good videos...If I could only remember that Todd Rundgren video they played a few times in the very early part of MTV, maybe even the first day they played it...

I found this song on their Millenium Collection-20TH Century Masters on CD, of all things. I bought it for this one song, even though it covered all of their 70's work. Possibly you can still find it- My copy of the CD went for about $15.00 US. It doesn't feature "Shes A Beauty" or any of their 80's work, but you'll enjoy it. I admit, I've never seen Linda "RE Styles" Lovelace look better than she does here. Mike in Fresno, Ca.

@hebneh I agree with the "haunting" label. It has that sexy disco-fantasy pop thing going that only a few wide-ranging artists like The Tubes could authenticate.

I believe that because they were so satirical in nature that they knew they could get away with going in such a direction as this (not to mention many others). They always had the satire excuse to fall back on...not that they had to actually fall back on it though. Definitely the unapologetic type...and for good reason. =)
