The current approxamate planned mission time is for the year 2019. Since this is NASA were talking about (and congress, since repeated budget cuts are part of the reason), most like the target date will be missed.

Did you know that the money spent on the Iraq war in a single year could fund NASA for more than five years? NASA gets a lot less money than most people think.

I know the windows don't look real at the start (a little cartoony) because there is another window in there. But I'm pretty sure thats real.

That is awsome though it means you can search a wider area because your not restricted to where the base is!

The pod on top is a mockup. The robotic transporter underneath is real, but only about 1/4 scale what an actual working model would be.
